I love how rob allways shows he is thankful for his life, rob is living the dream life that many of us would die for and he is decent enough to allways thank us fans for the subs and views that helped get him there. He says grace at dinner to thank god for all he has been given. Im jealous but also happy for rob, he worked his but off and made sacrifices to get where he is and no one deserves it more. I've been watching the channel for a long time from Germany. All your qualities are well known. (as far as I can tell) you're a great hunter, fischer and also farmer(?) with your ranch. What I personally admire most is your love for your family. As a divorce- or patchwork kid this really gives me a warm feeling inside. I may not share your religious believes, but I hope your buddy up there keeps an eye out for you, your family and those you hold dear

Rob, I'm crying my eyes out right now. Just got back from West Point, Ne and tried to fill a couple of tags in the late season. Wishing I had someone to share this wonderful new year with. I camped out in my screen tent and saw stars like I have never seen before. (fallin-2 of them) Said a prayer that God would bless my family, including my first wife, Sandra. No deer. My wife and myself just returned from a trip to cabo. We caught three dorado and a marlin. We shared the dorado and are mounting the marlin.
Neither of us grew up fishing, it was your channel that made us decide to try it for the first time.

I've often thought the same thing recently. I know things have changed a lot having a growing family and what not it's totally understandable but s ok sometimes I miss the condo days when he would cook a 4 course meal from scratch! Lol. It would be nice to see that again. I miss seeing Cliff and Leilani as well as Joey too!

Hey Aubrey, you messaged me once about growing up in the J W Corbett area as I did. When I heard you mention the 3 mile bridge it really brought back the memories. I also spent a lot of years on that bridge. My family & my parents friends stayed at the Edge Water Lodge for 35+ years until my mother passed away in 2003. My father only went back there maybe one year after that. That place was so dear to my family & out friends, that my brother & I spread both of my parents ashes there. My father passed away in 2012 in Georgia at my brother’s hunting lease.
Robert, you’ve taught me so many different skills and if that was all, I’d be beyond great full. However, the greatest skill you’ve imparted upon me is a reminder to stay grounded and true to myself, humility and thankfulness.

Thankful to have an inspiration like you to give us a glimpse of your daily life and inspire us to get busy living!! 2019 was amazing, purchased a Grady White fishing boat in the summer of 2019 and been taking my family out on the ocean in Southern California and to the islands (Catalina, San Clemente Island and the Coronado's) to go fishing.
