Andrea is the perfect person to sing this beautiful song. When you hear him sing he draws you close to God. Years back I was blessed to go to Fatima. It was so beautiful. I took a prayer petition for a friend & she told me everything she had prayed for was fulfilled. One of the things she asked for was that her son to become a priest. He's now a priest! I was fortunate enough to meet several of the children's family members. This was truly a blessing, I'll cherish for the rest of my life. 🙏🏻🌹

I just saw the movie and it is fantastic. Due to being born on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, I have a permanent connection with our Blessed Mother and I urge you all to love her as much as you can. Do not be afraid because no one can love her more than Jesus does. Obey her because she wants to lead you to her son. It’s what she wants as she also appeared to St. Juan Diego, St. Bernadette, and St. Dominic for the same reasons.
The movie was FANTASTIC... My sister was born on the feats of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary... and I was born on All Saints Day... kind of nice... and we grew up in a parish named after St Bernadette... There are sooo many reasons The Blessed Virgin Mary was/is exulted above the angels and the saints... BUT I would guess the number one reason would be her willingness to do the bidding of God "Be it done unto me according to thy will" was her response to the angel Gabriel... I can barley make it through the passage in Luke (without breaking into tears) when she goes to visit her cousin Elizabeth. And upon her arrival, Elizabeth proclaims "And who am I that the mother of our Lord should come and visit me? For upon the moment I heard your voice the child within my womb leaped for joy!" and Mary's response (this is where I loose it every time) "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit finds great joy in God my savior. He has looked upon his poor handmaiden with favor and all generations shall call me blessed... The almighty has done great things for me and holy is his name. He has cast down the mighty from their thrown and lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come the the help of his servant Israel and remembering his promise of mercy. The promise he made to our forefathers, to Abraham and his children forever."

We Roman Catholics honor Mary because not only did she, untouched by man, consent to carry the Son of God, but that, in spite of knowing what would happen to her Child in the future, she also carried that sorrow, ("A sword will pierce your heart"), and accepted along with the possible fate of a child-bearing woman who had no husband, in that time, that future. Everyone has a mother; most of us love and are close to our mothers. How could we not love and honor the mother of the Savior? My mother, who was Portuguese, loved Our Lady of Fatima. My father, who had once told me he was an atheist, was heard reciting the Hail Mary in Latin as he had learned it as a boy in Italy, on his death bed,
We pray not TO Mary, but FOR her intercession on our behalf to her Son, Jesus.
It is like anyone asking a mutual friend who is also the friend of an important person, to ask a favor from the important person on one's behalf.
Also for those who misunderstand the purpose of statues (and many Catholics who are not well versed in their faith also do), they are for focusing the mind on prayer and meditation. They have no power. We do not pray to statues, but for the intercession of the person represented.
I love this movie, this hymn in which the children chant praises each in his or her native language, and Mary, the Blessed Mother.

We honour Mary because she is with God, with her Son. And she is the Theotokos or more accurately the Christotokos the Christ Bearer. More importantly She intercedes for us to God incessantly.

I just saw the movie and it is fantastic.
Due to being born on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, I have a permanent connection with our Blessed Mother and I urge you all to love her as much as you can. Do not be afraid because no one can love her more than Jesus does. Obey her because she wants to lead you to her son. It’s what she wants as she also appeared to St. Juan Diego, St. Bernadette, and St. Dominic for the same reasons.
The movie was FANTASTIC... My sister was born on the feats of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary... and I was born on All Saints Day... kind of nice... and we grew up in a parish named after St Bernadette... There are sooo many reasons The Blessed Virgin Mary was/is exulted above the angels and the saints... BUT I would guess the number one reason would be her willingness to do the bidding of God "Be it done unto me according to thy will" was her response to the angel Gabriel... I can barley make it through the passage in Luke (without breaking into tears) when she goes to visit her cousin Elizabeth. And upon her arrival, Elizabeth proclaims "And who am I that the mother of our Lord should come and visit me? For upon the moment I heard your voice the child within my womb leaped for joy!" and Mary's response (this is where I loose it every time) "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit finds great joy in God my savior. He has looked upon his poor handmaiden with favor and all generations shall call me blessed... The almighty has done great things for me and holy is his name. He has cast down the mighty from their thrown and lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come the the help of his servant Israel and remembering his promise of mercy. The promise he made to our forefathers, to Abraham and his children forever."
