Haha, I remember getting my first ever tech suit and not being able to get it it on the first 2 or 3 tries. It was an intent size 25. I thought I had to return it at first, but now after a couple uses it slips on like a charm. Tech suit sizing is tough but I do think that the size chart is a big help to find a base especially when starting off.
Hi Sonny, since you are in the UK where do you buy the all black Mizuno's I am based on Europe as well, but can only seem to find these colorways on Mizuno USA or Swimoutlet...also which of the New Mizuno's would you say ressembles the 3MR the most? My 16yo is about your size, 32 training suit, 6'4.5 and 180lbs. I tried getting an NV for him at the Mizuno website, but the sizes are numeric (26, 28 etc.) and not alpha (s, m, l etc.) Does a size large equate to 28 or 30?
But the american suits are numbers now. Just bought a 28 size nv suit because mizuno told me it’s the “large” one. But puting side by side with another sonic V L, the difference is huge. Would be good if you made a video talking about the new number sizes.
im a waist size 30, hip size 33, should i be getting the small, i checked the size charts and it was a little broad, but my size matched the small numbers, what do you think
Hey, I’m getting an Arena Carbon Air 2 suit and I’m unsure of what size to get. I tried on a 22 and it just barely fit me, but it was like cutting off circulation in my legs and took almost an hour to get on. Should I go up to a 24 or a 26?
With mizuno i would say study the size guide religiously, then if in doubt SIZE UP!! The suits arrive soo small literally like a tiny square, and it'll take an HOUR to put on if you get the smaller size.
I'm 6'1.5 and 175 but have larger glutes/quads so I wear an XL in Mizuno. With my legs together quads are 34 inches and hips (mid glute) 38.5 inches if that helps any larger swimmers out there decide. Sounds like that's on track with Swimsuitguy's sizing in a L. I'm 32 Arena and 28 Speedo fastskin LZR pure intent.
Is there any sizing differences between the mizuno japan suits and the gx sonic V suits? Or can I expect the same if I order the same size I wear in the st/mr?

GX Sonic V is Mizuno Japan…..
But the VI is very similar to V

Pure Intent isn’t the one… I’d get VI if you swim narrow kick or prefer 50s, CR if wide kick and prefer 200z

A size small mizuno should fit you well
