Love the name haha, ever since the ban list crushed my favorite strategies (Gouki Orcust and SS), I’ve been looking for another adaptable combo deck so I’ll definitely be testing this.
4:46 but like in eu it is almost the same as with bufferlo You said that if a tigerreturns to hand it is a not public Knowledge trigger place but in eu if u f.ex. summon flame bufferlo and your opponent chains hieratic seal of heavenly spheres to bounce bufferlo, bufferlo will still trigger and can also discard himself Sound weird but it is ruled like that, so therefor i think that tiger still triggers if you destroy it with electrumite
Hmm you're definitely right about Bufferlo. It might be due to the activation condition simply being "leaving the field" as opposed to being destroyed. I've yet to find actual official rulings surrounding Tiger and Electrumite, so I think at events it's safest to ask your head judge and see how it's ruled until we get an official ruling! Worst case scenario, we just use Electrumite's first effect and send another Tiger to basically swap between the two to circumvent the issue :)
Say if I can't get Apollousa and I don't feel like running barricadeborg and nightmare, can I squeeeeeeze 2 wolves in the main and tiger king, panther and leo in the extra?
Yep, if you can find the space for all of the fusion lineup, then by all means go for it! I do believe though that Barricadeborg is pretty needed though if you want to be safe around hand traps. I tend to rush into Azathot every game and then make a Barricadeborg afterwards so I can either flex into Curious or make an Electrumite underneath. Ultimately though, deck building is up to the player, so feel free to run what works best for you! :)
@@SirEmanon thanks for the answer! Yeah I should run the barricadeborg. I think with the leo you could get a much better play going second and three allures should compensate for the potential bricks in the main. The oonalights are very cool!
Honestly, I actually have been experimenting with that kind of build, and have also been testing some Guardragon combos too! I'll be posting more in the upcoming week! :D
#LunalightTigerBestPendulum I've been playing this deck as well, and I just slapped 3 Allure and an Upstart for 44 cards. Been working great. It gets rid of extra stuff you might draw, like that extra Darkwurm or whatever. Free counters for Servant is also always nice, and going 2nd, you just bait out all the negates because your opponent thinks you're playing Endymion, but then you bust out the Lunalights on them. It's great.
Yep, exactly! Since making this video I actually made the same changes as you described. It's really amazing how many important cards the deck runs that absolutely require an opponent's response, and then you can just use the Lunalight engine for a simple but effective push :)
If you hard draw both cards together turn 1, you use Goods to send Perfume, and then pitch the Darkwurm with Perfume, which allows you to use Darkwurm effect after you search :)
You can definitely opt for that if you wanna focus on the Endymion cards specifically. I like Darkwurm since it gives Foolish more utility, works well with Goods, and allows you to search a low scale which can come up sometimes, but you can definitely run things by preference, as the build is pretty new still and is definitely a work in progress!
@@SirEmanon I was thinking of adding in Master Cerberus alongside a second Jackal King. I really like this build, it has the explosive power that LL orcust had when it had mermaid. It seems like the ceiling is a lot higher in terms of what boards you can make, but it also seems to have more really bad, completely dead hands.
Really good! I love the Pendulum variant under MR5, since you don't have to worry about zone placement with Azathot/Electrumite conflicting. I might do a video on this deck soon!
@@Li-kc1tz Ok, that makes sense. I was just asking because Curtain takes 1 "garnet" out the deck, by you not having to run gate 0. Plus you can add Allure and maybe an impactful hand trap
The lv 7 Endymion does not HAVE to pop a card to summon itself. You can technically choose to pop zero cards, however it won't gain any counters if you do so.
Brendan Ryan « You can remove 6 Spell Counters from your field; Special Summon this card from the Pendulum Zone, then count the number of cards you control that can have a Spell Counter, destroy up to that many cards on the field, and if you do, place Spell Counters on this card equal to the number of cards destroyed. » Notice how there is an absence of *you can* before destroy
HOWEVER! If I do play this, I'm playing Tiger King instead of Nightmare. Gonna cut down the darkwurm and perfume to make way for allure. Gonna side in lunalight wolf and black sheep, as well as Leo and panther dancer. Mainly because, screw true Draco apocalypse.
In addition to what Elijah said, I do think the effect to pitch cards like Serenade Dance and Zephyros comes up quite frequently. You can definitely opt for Underclock if you feel like having increased OTK potential though :)
@@daha8090 No problem! We all grow as players and that's what I hope to achieve on my channel - a community where I can learn from you guys and hopefully you guys can take away something from my content as well! :D
So with the lunalight tiger thing, as a judge, your explanation makes absolutely zero sense to me. I see what you are saying and how you say it works, but I'm fairly certain that's not why. So in TCG-NA region, trigger effects may only be able to activate if they're in the same place that meets their trigger by the time it goes to resolve. So, if something discards a Burning Abyss or something as coat, and D.D. crow banishes the BA as chain link 2, the BA monster will meet it's trigger, but it won't be able to activate in a new chain because it's location no longer meets the location specified in it's trigger effect. So when we read lunalight tiger's monster effect, "If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: ..." Which means it is a trigger effect. Electrumite's effect to destroy and add a pendulum monster, if you destroy tiger in the scale, the trigger has been met, however if you add that tiger it's location has now changed from where its trigger was met. Maybe theres some discrepancy in that BA monsters specifically say "sent to grave" and tiger doesn't specify a location, but I digress. Just some thoughts of a judge and competitive player.
Nah, you're totally fine! I got my information from other judges with whom I've discussed the issue, and there has actually been disagreements. I see your exact point, and the same ruling with Atlantean Dragoons vs. D.D. Crow applies in a similar fashion to the BA monsters, at least in NA. That being said, I also think that the fact that Tiger doesn't specify a location makes things a bit wonky as far as clarifying if location trigger rulings apply in this case, and whether they are different worldwide. I think that ultimately, until we get an official ruling on this issue, it's safest to ask the head judge of whatever event players are attending to see how it's ruled at each individual event. Moving forward, I'm personally going to be erring on the side of caution and playing as if you cannot add the same copy of Tiger, just to future proof my videos in case a ruling pops up (in which case, if it is later changed to officially allow otherwise, then it makes it easier for everyone haha). At least we can circumvent this by using Electrumite's first effect to send another copy of Tiger and basically swap between the two, so that's basically how I'll be piloting the deck for the sake of future videos :) Thanks for your input though, since I'm not sure myself on how it operates, it's nice to get others' viewpoints on the matter!
I might honestly bump up the deck past 40 to reduce the chances of drawing the "soft garnets" in the deck, but yeah, I might still cut the 3rd Perfume in the process.
I'm down for 1 hour discussion vids
I really like the concept of the deck. It has a high learning curve but works well in testing
