That is a bummer what they did but the good news is I did not even know your kit existed and will order one for a CT70 I’m finishing up, and maybe for a couple of Z50s I have in my future projects. I know a guy who owns a company that designs and builds custom manufacturing machinery. He sold a custom piece of machinery to an outfit in China and travelled to China to set it up in their factory. A year later they called him and asked him to return to China because the machine was not working properly. He found his machine fully disassembled. The next time he was in their factory, he saw 4 additional machines exactly like his… sitting next to his turning out product just like his was producing

This is even worse than you think. When China started their invasion of the domestic manufacturing industry (back in the late ‘80’s, early ‘90’s) they only went after super high volume stuff or parts that involved a lot of labor (which is essentially free in the CCP). By them copying your parts it now means they’re so desperate they’ll make something that only has (let’s say) an EAU of less than 1,000 pieces. Every time you walk into a Walmart be sure to thank the Walton family. They were the first ones to discover how cheaply things could be made in China.

When the Walton family started outsourcing to China, it caused Montgomery Ward and Sears, and everybody to fill their stores with nothing but Chinese made goods.
I often wonder if one of the powers that distorted the last election and took down Trump was because Trump was really going to do something about the medication‘s That I must take every day that are made in China and India. Those could be made in many of our towns in America by people that would thrive in manufacturing jobs in the US.

That stinks, you should make some fake expensive products for them to copy. Keep up the good work, I appreciate your vids!

This helps pay for tools and time to keep making videos etc. So if I give up something that brings in proceeds I lose they win. I don't make much on YT and the 100s of videos I uploaded and will continue to upload. Maybe if my channel was providing tons of money LOL

@@VintageHondaMinis I am a Honda vintage restoration guy as well. This kind of evil from China is typical and pisses me off. I too have created parts you cannot buy for typical restorations I do, I haven’t marketed them yet as this kind of hassle with China, evil YT, Etsy fees etc…
