Hi Laura, do you find the lambskin on your Chanel Kelly scratches easily? I am considering this bag and tossing between the caviar skin vs lambskin. My preference is caviar just because I have a vintage Chanel Diana flap bag in lambskin and that bag scratches too easily for my liking. Don’t get my wrong I love the Diana bag but the delicate nature of the lambskin means I prefer not to use it as a grab & go everyday bag, and I would definitely want to use the Kelly as an everyday bag. Did you find that your old jumbo Kelly in caviar skin more worry free in terms of not getting scratched as easily as your current lambskin version? TIA 🙏
The caviar is definitely less delicate so if you prefer that then I would go for a Kelly in caviar (also much easier to find on the preloved market). Best wishes!

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately the hardware is not big enough to clip onto without potentially damaging the bag so I just prefer to use handheld.

What do you think about attaching a strap to the loop of the top handle?
The loop is very small so I haven’t found a strap that works that way - but never say never. LOL.
