Thank you a ton!!! You showed me exactly what I needed and have been looking for, Great information. I am totally mounted and if I can see feet I can rope them in most cases. I was back a touch too far. I was turning in too soon and rounding the corner causing me to lose sight of the feet. Then it took me too many hops to get back where I needed to be. Stay outside. Ride up. Horses eyeball to the tail head. Swing the tip over the target. Dont let your horse leak in. I tried it today. YouDaMan!

when you rope a steer that gets down close to the ground do you flatten your hand or keep the hand shake?
