LZ was the confused and unsure one, WWX was the prankster type, but both are good guys and they loved eachother even if it took them lots of time to understand and accept what was really going on. Plus, they were both teenagers, so it was only natural to feel lost. After WWX's return, when they're both in early 30's, it was simpler to display the love and care, even if WWX was still a bit cluelss. I like how LZ became a confident person and decided to be with WWX forever. He understood the depths of WWX's goodness and selflessness even more after he finds out why his beloved wasn't able to use swords and had to resort to dakr magic. I also liked how LX rooted for them from the start. But the uncle/s was/were really something, i can only imagine their face/s when LZ and WWX got married rofl!
Wei Ying was a flirt, but he was as dense as the resentment in the burial grounds with the idea that Lan Zhan liked him. I mean- yeah, they were kids and at the time Lan Zhan wasn't the best at expressing his true feelings to Wei Ying, who had always assumed that LZ never liked him in the slightest, now even as a friend. But then he comes back 13-16 years later and LZ tolerates everything he does, knowing it's WWX, confusing the frick out of ou demonic bunny. It's really short but they have a smut scene in almost every episode. There are 3 seasons and each season has many shows.( None of them are interrelated btw). Check it out of you want, it's really good :))

Lan Zhan likes only one boy, Wei Ying. He probably loved only 3 people in his life, his mom, his brother and Wei Ying. He really agonized over his decision before accepting it. I think the Chinese government censorship really helped this drama by having the fans rely on their imagination rather than blatant, overt acts. Good script writing and excellent acting from all, especially Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo. I can't imagine this drama without them.

It's really short but they have a smut scene in almost every episode. There are 3 seasons and each season has many shows.( None of them are interrelated btw). Check it out of you want, it's really good :))

Yo pienso que hay personas que al ver the untamed por primera vez (sin saber de la novela, etc) no se fijan tanto en todos los detalles que hay en los que se puede ver claramente que es mucho mas que bromance, pero estoy segura de que si la ven una segunda vez prestando mas atencion seguro notan todo, me pasó porque la primera vez no noté tantos detallitos como despues 💞 pero claramente es BL!

Ambos factores constituyen el mejor ejemplo de cómo burlar una pacata censura. A los censores les ha salido el tiro por la culata porque nos hemos hecho con una de las historias de amor más bellas del BL mundial
Pues todo lo que te digo de THE UNTAMED, valdría para ADVANCE BRAVELY, que también la puedes encontrar con subtítulos en español, buscando BESO DEL DIABLO. También se basa en una novela explícitamente BL que la censura pretendía enmascarar como bromance. Pero totalmente en vano. La química y complicidad de los actores y la realización, nos dejan otra historia de amor increíble. Búscala y prepárate a disfrutar un montón, porque, encima, es divertidísima. Me gusta tanto como THE UNTAMED, y cuidado que es difícil conseguir eso !
De todas formas, la única serie que aún me gusta más, y que, por tanto, es mi favorita , es ADDICTED HEROINE. Gu Hai y Bai Luo Yin, para mí, ya son palabras mayores. Nadie les puede superar.

No entiendo la manía que tiene la gente de minusvalorar las películas cuando no hay escenas explícitas o picantes. ¡ Que vayan a ver porno ! Tanto en THE UNTAMED como en ADVANCE BRAVELY, ( aunque, es cierto que nos encantaría que las hubiera, sin censura ), me parecen prescindibles. Es más, creo que, por burlar la censura, ambas series ganan en sutileza y sensibilidad, gracias al maravilloso trabajo de la dirección y de los actores. ¡ Enormes !

I think the Chinese government censorship really helped this drama by having the fans rely on their imagination rather than blatant, overt acts. Good script writing and excellent acting from all, especially Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo. I can't imagine this drama without them.
