Mani ratnam chose to do the kannada film because back then kannada industry was producing fab movies, but after 2000s it slowed down a bit but again now the golden era is back.

I hate that word "woman representation" that in itself is patronizing in my opinion. If you put a rule to fill whatever quota in a film then filmmakers would just fill it up as a filler which negates the intent. Which is what happens to many woke movies that fail big because filmmakers doesn't really have the intent to build a strong female character, they just do it to score woke points. It should be organic and not forced. It seems Rishab Shetty shares the same view.

All these woke point scoring films just adds to negativeness to who they're trying to represent... Whenever i see a woman character utter the words "woman are not inferior but better than Men" and showcasing Men in an vile dark shade and the most disgusting of them all, putting every single man to Ever walk the earth in that same dark spot.... I don't see how you can put down someone and raise the other and call it a social justice movie.... The lvl of hypocrisy in tht is disgusting.
