Did you also get the tiny rubber mallets with your drum? I thought they were included in drum purchase and am trying to find out the diameter of the rubber head. I'm hoping to find some that are of the same size and density of material. I wish I had understood that they were an extra when I ordered my drum. The generic mallets that I have from other drum purchases do not produce the same quality of sound whatsoever. It may just be due to the very small size but the exact material may be a factor as well. Thank you in advance if you do know the size (diameter).

Wow - that is an interesting drum! It looks more like a small handpan, rather than a tongue/tank drum. I really like the feature of the amplifier connection too … Kosmosky (please forgive my misspelling 🙏🏻) knows how to take it to the next level. All of their drums are definitely on a level way above what I can afford unfortunately. However, I would like to know about the platform piece the drum in this video is sitting on, as I have my new “15-tongue-drum” on a drum stand as you do. But the sound is not as “rich” when compared to how the drum sounds when played on a hard surface, such as table or stool-type platform. Please inform your audience what the name of that piece of musical equipment is, the approximate cost, and where we can purchase it. 🙏🏻 Thank you and God bless❣️🤠🌈

Thanks @michaelinejunefrost9437! I've recently updated the design of the wooden platform stand shown in this video. You can find the new model of this wooden stand on my Etsy shop at: www.etsy.com/listing/1605617079/wooden-tongue-drum-stand.

Thank you Alex! I checked it out on your Etsy store page, and will probably order it next month after I get my pension & Social Security checks, and pay the bills from Christmas too. I’m going to take a look at the mallets, too. Thank you for creating Root Rhythm … I am looking forward to learning a lot from you in the future. I hope you & your loved ones have a very Merry & Blessed Christmas!

@@rootrhythmwhat’s the difference between your stand and Kosmosky stand on their website? Thanks for sharing

@@adambourque1209 Great question! My stand is inspired by 3 different types of stands I've used over the past 4 years, including the Kosmosky stand (which I love to use when playing while sitting down). However, I do a lot of tongue drum playing while standing up, so my husband and I decided to create a stand that could easily be attached to a snare drum stand to offer height adjustment options and allow for stand up playing.
