I am a Scorpio Ascendant and I am observing this transit very closely because during the first phase of the transit I will be going through Sun MD-Jupiter AD-Venus PD and I have natal venus alone in my 7th house so Jupiter will be transiting over it. That’s very interesting with the previous transits when Jupiter was in Taurus. During that period I was actually going through my Venus MD-Jupiter AD. It was a good time for me because my physical appearance changed a lot in a very positive way and I was getting a lot of attention, I also was enjoying luxurious clothes. I wanted a romantic relationship but it never happened even though I had suitors because I was not interested in the options but looking back I understand it probably had to do with the malefic influence of Ketu transiting the 7th house as well and since I was desiring a partner and attaching Ketu did not allow it. With Ketu transiting in my 11th house I do feel the detachment with my desires especially when it comes to material things like wealth and possessions. I am just learning to be simple and consuming less. Trying not to spend money on clothes and just use what I already have.

When rahu antardasha started I quit my job and had to figure out what I was gonna do, so I started studying astrology for a career change but by jupiter antardasha I was studying trading. Trading (Forex, futures) is hardest thing I ever have done but it's accelerated personal growth and development in ways I could never imagine and it has developed my intellect for sure (it's a very technical subject) --made me uncover a lot of layers and patterns which I have been letting go of. I would say it has been a positive antardasha but with a LOT of twists, turns and starting over a few times but each time, starting over doesn't feel so scary and I lean on the experiences of before where everything works out in the end and for me, this life lesson is worth it's weight in gold. The difference between the two systems we see today is only on the basis of calculation. Western system gives more importance to the sun sign but, Vedic system to the Moon sign since Moon’s transit is the fastest, having more significant impact on the native form a sign perspective.
