It's better to wear a latex glove on the hand that you're using to press the gel so that your oils and particles don't get in the gel causing lifting but besides that you did a perfect job! This solid gel is my favorite!

Are you sure you have the solid non stick "extension" gel, and not the solid non stick "glue" gel that is for glueing gel extensions on, because the glue one does stay soft.
