Hope y'all liked the run and the commentary! I noticed afterwards that my mic seems to have sounded worse than it sounds for me normally on my own stream. No idea how that happened, but it's just a bit unfortunate it turned out like that. I'm really happy with how this all went as a whole though! Glad I got to show off this game again in a GDQ since it got even more broken since I ran it at SGDQ 2015! Also glad I didn't fail anything I was super nervous about failing either lol. I played the crap out of the multiplayer when this game came out. It seemed pretty wild to play an online multiplayer FPS on a handheld system back then, but it worked.
Omg I used to LOVE this game! The multiplayer was a ton of fun! Metroid Prime Hunters was wayyy ahead of its time!
Idk why Nintendo never made a sequel. Hell, if they remastered this and just released the multiplayer for Switch I'd buy it in a heartbeat

I played this game so much growing up with a couple of my buddies. I knew about some of the out of bounds glitches which were so much fun in multiplayer, but man, I wish I'd seen this speedrun as a teenager. I could've been unstoppable in deathmatch lol.

This runner is so funny and explains there run so well while he is playing it’s honestly cracked. Great run of an underrated game.
Sometimes the mosy underrated games have the most fun speedruns, also the movement options of Hunters are cooler than i thought, like with the Boost Ball Samus basically has her own version of spindash.
I've had this game for years but never finished, thanks to this run I might return to play it finaly after having do much fun with Metroid Dread
Playing Metroid PvP online was super fuckin cool IDC what anyone says. I hope it makes a comeback.

Best control system in my opinion. Ot even rivals keyboard and mouse being that you use your hand to aim and not just the thumb like on controller
One of the greatest FPS's of all time. Amazing multi-player as well as the mulitplayer community. I used to go by DX_Shadow in that game.

There's a capture card for 3DS, it's basically a hardware mod. You do have to send it in to the card's creators to get it modded, though, IIRC.

I remember as a kid being terrible at the controls for this game. I know I hadn't managed any experience with a controller (xbox/PS) by then, so that didn't help.
