Not all people with Autism are mentally delayed. My sister has autism and she is one of the most incredible people I know. Thanks for making this video.
My teacher, my classmates and I were just talking about autism yesterday. And it turns out that my teacher has a son with autism. He's a level 1 and he's 20. No one is mean to him or bullies him. I just wanted to say that: *Autism isn't a bad thing. It just makes you different and special.*
My brother is autistic, he cant talk or even communicate. His only way of emotion is laughing and crying. He bothers me and messes with my temper and I cant help it or seem to understand. I just want to run away tbh..
@@ihaveanewchannel8507 stfu people do have autism and it’s not a bad thing, it makes you special in a different way. No one should be treated like garbage.

Yep! I’m the youngest of 3 and my middle sister had to take me everywhere her and her friends with or she wasn’t allowed to go out! Now I wonder why our parents did that?
My brother is autistic, it’s very hard everyday knowing people won’t treat him the same as other kids. But no matter what we love him and he will always be my bro.
I’m so sorry about your brother but I’m glad you still love him the same and you treat him as a normal human being I have learning disabilities and other disabilities but I don’t have autism but in secondary school when we had to do group work in some of my classes when I offer to write or try to answer my classroom assistant used to say no because and let the other person do it because they can do it better than me
I'm autistic to but I was diagnosed at 17 so I didn't get all that harshness but I did get the u don't look autistic thing which is very annoying to me.
Autism is not a superpower or a weakness. It is a diagnosis that causes some struggles with forms of communications and thinking. It is NOT sickness or a disease. Autistic people are still and can be incredibly smart. Never judge us until you get to know us.
I don’t know if anyone knew this but, I don’t have autism but I find that autism people are very unique and very kind. People with autism really doesn’t change for who the person is. 🥺🤍
Teenagers be like: “ I wish my mom would pay more attention to me “ Mom: “ Honey, do you want some food? “ Me: “ No, go away! “ “ See what I mean, she doesn’t even notice me “
As someone with autism, I can confirm that autism IS a disability. It makes me struggle with things others may find easier, such as emotional regulation. I have shutdowns more consistently than any neurotypical person I know, and saying that it's just 'a different ability' sounds like saying it isn't real. I have definitely felt left out for it before because of it, but it still is a disability. Messages like this are similar to 'separating the person from the disability' sound good in theory, but in practice, they make the person with the disability feel like their disability doesn't count as part of them. At least for me, I feel like my autism is part of who I am, and prefer saying 'I have autism' to 'I am a person with autism' because autism has shaped parts of my life. I can't speak for people with physical disabilities as I don't have one, but I think having this video be about how autistic people manage day-to-day, being written by autistic people, could make this video feel less insensitive. Sorry for the long message but I don't stand for people invalidating disabilities.
I just got diagnosed with autism at age 25 and it explains everything. I finally know why I am the way that I am and why I've always felt different from everybody else, why I've always struggled significantly with so many things, don't even wanna get into all of it. But I tell people about my diagnosis and more often than not people invalidate my entire life and say things like "You definitely couldn't be autistic. You're just a bit 'weird' and 'quirky'!" or "There's nothing wrong with you. You shouldn't believe that." Like, sure, I get what you're trying to do, but it doesn't help at all because my life and my struggles and experiences are mine and I know that because I've experienced them. I've lived 25 years not knowing exactly what was wrong with me or why I've always struggled with things that most people don't seem to have trouble with. Finally finding out what was wrong was such a huge revelation. I've been told that I'm "weird" and "not normal" my whole life. To go from that to now have people telling me I'm the most normal person they've ever met is just so incredibly frustrating. It just invalidates everything I've ever been through.
I have autism as well. People never notice. Because I don't show it. No matter how many times I always condemned my disability as a curse or saying I never asked for it. At least I try to do what I can.
I have autism adhd sensory processing dyslexia anxiety and i dont get bullied because of that i have been bullied but for other reasons so you have nothing to worry about she will be fine lots of people find that my autism helps them so she really has nothing to worry about 💜
This means a lot to me. Kids with autism are not different from us. My sister has autism. Thank you Dhar Mann for spreading the message. I try to but not many people listen.
I'm autistic diagnosed at 19. I'm 21 now. I realized that I just shine in other areas. I may not be the best with girls though my luck isn't too bad. Making small talk isn't my thing. But in my spare time when I'm not studying or working, I do judo. And my sensei always talks about how much I shine in the dojo!
I can't stand people bulling an autistic kid bc my older brother is autistic and gets bullied a lot and it brakes my heart that people bully people who are different Thank You For Coming To My Ted Talk
As a sister of an autistic boy, I believe people with autism are wonderful, mysterious, and Intelligent human beings! My brother is 7 and he teaches me things I never knew. He always puts a smile on my face! 💙💙💙💙 Edit: Im 13 years old btw! :)
the fact that the mum went to class and exposed him in front of his friends. i never knew that parents could come into class to give her son a little talk
As an autistic person myself, this hits hard. Yes, my autism is high functioning and I don’t show many if not any symptoms of it, but I still feel those feelings that autistic people feel. I often feel nervous about going to social gatherings, I feel nervous and panicky around large crowds and some loud sounds that aren’t music, and I sometimes feel like I’m not good enough because I’m quiet and not as social as my peers. But I tell myself to not let a mental condition stop me from being who I want to be.
I know how that feels myself. Me I don't come off as autistic especially since I'm high functioning too and to others I just come off as the weird kid who sits by herself.
Don't worry man. You are an amazing and smart person. I don't have autism but I make jokes and people don't get to like them. But I love them and that won't stop me from being who I want to be. Being different means being talented and amazing. Just do what you love and keep going. You are amazing and I believe you can MAKE YOUR DREAMS POSSIBLE.
This made me cry as it's literally like me (I have high functioning as well and my sisters hate the fact we can't do fireworks because of me even though I am 21 almost 22 I'm a danger by myself as I have serve depression so yeah I'm not to the point where I have to be in a hospital but I'm still a danger) but i have much lower self esteem and confidence even in my writing which is like amazing in my sisters words (I did put up a writing piece in a c comment section it's in Stronger than my storm by citizen soldier on their music video of it.
I read half then fell asleep but when I woke up I read the rest and now I can say good for you 👍
I'm autistic too
I just got diagnosed with autism at age 25 and it explains everything. You shouldn't believe that."
Like, sure, I get what you're trying to do, but it doesn't help at all because my life and my struggles and experiences are mine and I know that because I've experienced them.
Same
I have autism as well. People never notice. Because I don't show it. No matter how many times I always condemned my disability as a curse or saying I never asked for it. At least I try to do what I can.
