Summart I've never done Steve getting me lures out in the dark glad it paid off for you with that momma .Intresting she ignored the swim bait and nailed the jig fly 👍
Lovely pike Steve and never mind about the scales, we have all been there, myself this season with one of my barbel the scales had died. Lovely fish and I would if having to put a weight estimate on it said 17. But size whilst nice to know is immaterial to it being a beautifully marked, nocturnal Esox.

Great video Steve, i felt like iwas there with you. What a stunning fish and the size of the tail fins on it, it must have put up a fair battle. I think that it looked more 17lb than 16lb but if Tom caught it, it would have been as he would say it "a twenny" & speaking of Tom you will have to give them (SB) that bridge location so that Tom can go through it until he get's a follow then Sean will poach his swim and catch it first cast ; ) All the best.

Thanks James, yes very interesting! The SG lure went through there 6 or 7 times and nothing. The jigfly first or second pull through and boom
