What a fabulous stash! So many things to love! Love how you have ventured into grey! Love it. The crosses and textured stars are so lovely. I love the stencilled tray too! The embossed tins are stunning.. Love your work!
I haven't watched these older videos in a long time. I still enjoy them so much. I learn a different technique every time. Thank you. I love the lavender wreath.
Wow! That was a lot! Beautiful as always! I love watching all ur videos but smalls are my favorite! So many different pieces. I'm amazed of all the goodies u find
Oh my everything turned out so nice, but why wouldn't it, you pay so much attention to detail. Sure would be hard to pick out a favorite, but I just love how you do the flowers, definitely need to try it. Even the 'viking problem child' tray turned out great!
I’m a retired art teacher and you can get wonderful fan brushes in the art isles of the stores like Hobby Lobby. And many different thicknesses . I love love your art work! Your refurbed projects are art work for sure! You guys are the best I’ve seen! I made a couple trays using your techniques and they came out perfect!
Gorgeous absolutely gorgeous I love all of the items it's make such a difference when you paint it I mean great stuff you found and that helps too but you always have such skill when you do your painting and distressing
I did some recycling this weekend....I have so much stuff.......I found a chair on the side of the road that I wanted to paint for a decorative vignette for my porch....I had 90s candle sticks that were shiny silver and gold....and I’ve been wanting to try painting metal trays.....got a good start but it takes me so much longer since I don’t have a workshop and stuff is all over the place! You have inspired me!
Today the glass tray with the design was my favorite but if I was a customer I would buy everything I love ❤️ them all thanks for the inspiration stay safe
PI enjoyed seeing the transformation of all the thrift finds, you scored lots of great things. My favorite is the Viking piece. Being Norwegian I can appreciate the end result. My uncle in Norway did pewter and had his own shop. Much of what he made was smooth and clean but he also made the rustic old Viking look. You created that look very well. Thanks for a very enjoyable video. 🙌⭐⭐⭐
watching your channel makes me want to hit up every thrift store I see and flip everything! But, I live in an apartment so I will just keep watching you flip everything instead. It's all beautiful!
I have to tell you just how satisfying it is when you peel cardstock from your mat all in one piece AND all the pieces come off lol!!! Yeah I know I'm weird LOL! Great video.
The doily tray turned out very nice, as did the one with the bee on it, etc. Beautiful work. Yes you have inspired me, especially with the milk jug & lavender. TFS & God Bless Happy Easter!
You conquered the VIKING BOWL 👏👏👏👏. Yvonne... every piece came out incredible ! That Tiered Tray looks great in the cement look! But that tray you did that was glass ... blows me away! It is beautiful with the Antiquing Wax... just beautiful! How great the stencil came out on card stock paper! You could probably use something like that in staging and sell them also! Beautiful piece of Art in itself ! Those FLOWERS and how you paint them... love them!! 🌼🌼 I know I’m missing something...it took every 4 1/2 hours to watch this video because for the wind, snow and WiFi...😬😬😬. You are getting more and more amazing with each video and visions ! Just beautiful work ! Sweet hug from NYS 💛💛🌼🌼💛💛
Loved the glass tray and the enamel look tray. And the bee vase and the little animals. Well, I just loved all the items and your pricing is very affordable.
I like that you show us what doesn’t work as well as all the wonderful ones that do. I said to myself when you sprayed the polycrylic onto the Viking tray “she’s going to have a problem with that wax is always the last product to go on”. It all turned out beautiful in the end though
I love all the items you did in this video, it is hard to choose a favorite. You are very inspiring and I love how you set up and do multiple items at the same time.
Thank you so much for giving so many great tips on how to restore pieces that have been damaged. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy you did a great job on this project and gave me lots of encouragement
Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful videos. I keep a notebook by the computer and write down the steps you have gone over in the videos. Fantastic teaching and well worth watching! I enjoy watching!
Love all the really cool things you find and redo!!! Enjoy so much the way u finish them. You have given me awesome ideas on redoing my things I already have thank you!!
The things with the cement finish are great. Wasn't sure I would like them but I really do. When I make a stencil out of cardstock, before I use the stencil, I like to spray the stencil with the polycrylic. It helps seal the cardstock so it will be less likely to absorb paint. The stencil can be cleaned off easier and used repeated times.
All of your items are completely amazing love the black spray paint technique would have called you crazy until I seen you do it it is amazing and you guys do a wonderful job thank you for sharing everything I have learned so much from you watching from Alton Illinois
Hi Yvonne the wau you recreate pieces you thrift is truly amazing all of them are my favorites thanks for sharing. Prayers Blessings to you and Chris and both of your families Hugs Mildred!
I agree you should raise your prices! I always love everything you do. My daughter and I went thrifting yesterday and I found a lazy susan!! I was so excited and I used it today while I painted my new treasures. 🥰 Thanks for sharing all your tips. My problem is it takes me 3 days to figure out what color I want my item. 🤣
I am in agreement with many here, your prices are so low for such superior quality. I too would buy you out! Your community must consider themselves lucky to have such a talented lady. Oops and Chris as well.
I wish your store was closer to me I would be buying a lot of your items 2 by one of the large Stars hear the price starts at $40 your prices are awesome and your work is great thank you so much for sharing I've learned so much today from you have a great day God bless I'm in Canada
You can buy just a fan brush....not at 5 below, but any place that sells craft supplies. U will pay more but I know, you know how to take care of them. They will last forever. I have one I've had for 30 years.
You've solved a problem for me! I was so happy to find a gold hammered metal flat piece with a rooster bulging out of it that I was SURE was going to look great painted black then white and distressed, but when I did it, all the little hammered dots made it look like everything including the rooster, had been shot repeatedly by a BB gun. I was SO disappointed and I had paid FOUR dollars for it. I just left it for a while hoping something would come to me. And when you painted that metal Viking tray with the concrete mixture, a light bulb must have appeared over my head! The white wax over the textured paint will give those dents and the rooster feathers just the subtle highlighting I need! I don't know why I didn't think of it myself since I've been painting a lot of other things with that mixture and wax. Thanks for the idea.....among many others you've given me. I'm so glad I found your channel!
Oh.. I’m so happy that helped. I’ve stayed away from pieces like that myself. But doing the cement like paint had been a game changer for pieces like this. Ever since I did the metal thing leaves that I hated every color I tried on them. Until my light bulb clicked for me as well 🤗💕
@@GingerChickRehab I didn't think you were going to pull the metal leaves thing off and you DID! I don't know why that didn't connect about my rooster. But the Viking tray did it for me.
Wow beautiful pieces! Personally, I think you give your work away, but it might be because of where you are located. That Lacey tray...ooo la la!! My fav for sure and I was glad to see you charged for it at a good price. Great work, Ginger sweetie pie. ❤❤✌
I think one of the things that would be really helpful for you for the tiny (and extra large) stenciling is learning how to make gyotaku tampos. (It's actually really easy, and in the long run would probably save time!) It's a style of ink dabber for nature printing developed in japan, but can be applied to basically anything. They also self-blend. Anyway, great video! I loved the cement ones, and I know you said the viking one was a problem child, but I think it looks really cool!
Walmart sells an elf fan brush for about $3 that's good quality. The small jar that you added black to the inside was my favorite- I always love the small items. ☺️
Just beautiful!! I can only imagine how customers must love shopping in your booths. Your products are done so well.
I love all of the upcycled items, especially the crosses.
Wow! That was a lot of pieces! All beautifully done Yvonne! I LOVE your style!!
Thx for the detailed explanation on the several techniques you're showing here. Really useful and learning a lot from you. :)
I'm loving these longer videos!💕👍
An amazing number of items! Love watching all the prep work you do to have the items ready for a perfect paint job. So inspirational.
I could watch you paint all day long! Haha! I don’t know what it is! Loved all of these items.
The lavender tins... everything looks so beautiful!
What a fabulous stash! So many things to love! Love how you have ventured into grey! Love it. The crosses and textured stars are so lovely. I love the stencilled tray too! The embossed tins are stunning.. Love your work!
Thank you for noticing the grey
Weird how much watching you paint is relaxing. Lol. Never thought about it until you said it.
I haven't watched these older videos in a long time. I still enjoy them so much. I learn a different technique every time. Thank you. I love the lavender wreath.
I just love the distressed white with black showing through and the enamel ware look. ❤
Wow! That was a lot! Beautiful as always! I love watching all ur videos but smalls are my favorite! So many different pieces. I'm amazed of all the goodies u find
Lots of work! Thanks for sharing.
Favorite-your glass tray with the stencils! GORGEOUS!
Oh that single bee was cause for my breath to stop! I Love the glass tray with the stenciling... Beautiful job well done. Thank you❣️
Once again your vision for each piece is amazing. Thank you for sharing the transformation of your thrifted items into beautiful home decor.
Loved the black tray with the round flowers.
Oh my everything turned out so nice, but why wouldn't it, you pay so much attention to detail. Sure would be hard to pick out a favorite, but I just love how you do the flowers, definitely need to try it. Even the 'viking problem child' tray turned out great!
Thank you
Hi Yvonne! These are all just beautiful. The doily type stencils look so pretty on the glass tray. Love the enamel ware technique you do also. 💕
Thank you Beth🖤🤍

Love hearing that. We didn’t always have a workshop either... but trust me it’s still all over the house🤗
So lovely to see the Man that creates the magic too - You look like such a lovely couple. Cheers
Super cute items!
What a joy to watch. Excellent finish to all of your hard work!! 👌
I love watching you paint stuff. Those are very nice items you did today
That's a lot! It all looks great. I liked Mr Viking ... even when he "rusted".
Ginger chic you ALWAYS do a fantastic job on everything you do! I love watching the smalls thrift flips!

That is an amazing haul! I love painted enamel and all the ideas you have to make each piece stand out.
Love the tray with the Bee on it and my Favorite was the problem child with the two size candle holders displayed together.....
I have to tell you just how satisfying it is when you peel cardstock from your mat all in one piece AND all the pieces come off lol!!! Yeah I know I'm weird LOL! Great video.
Oh.. no.. not weird at all. I was so.. happy about it myself ☺️
So generous, to share all these items. I like the bee riser especially, but glad to see you experimenting with the cement look.
I love how you painted just the tips of the metal flowers!!!
Thank you
Love the grey! Love the texture! Love you!
The doily tray turned out very nice, as did the one with the bee on it, etc. Beautiful work. Yes you have inspired me, especially with the milk jug & lavender. TFS & God Bless Happy Easter!

Hello kids. Always have cleaned polycrylic spout, didn’t know to store upside down- thank you for the tip. Elizabeth
We didn’t know it either.. until we felt like we were wasting to many cans. Such a silly thing to do.. but it’s working 🤗
Again you did a great job! I live the glass tray.

Yvonne, Amazon has fan brushes in brown bristles and white. You can get all one color or 1/2 & 1/2. 4 pieces $6.99 or 14 pieces $12.99.
Been using small Lazy Susan, but scored a HUGE VINTAGE wood LS w green felt under,$5 on Seniors Day...YAY👍👍🌟🌟🌟
