How many times have you seen team mates YOLO over a hill only to be cut to pieces but the enemy waiting on the other side?
While pushing hard can sometimes work, more often than not, it will get you killed.
Holding back and waiting for the enemy to make a mistake and pay dividends.

Assess the battlefield, assess what the enemy has in tanks, then decide where to go, what to focus on and if that means locating to a decent spot to highlight the enemy and snipe without taking any damage, then so be it....Too many rush off into the sunset in lights and meds and never return. Yes they may spot one or two of the enemy, but if they lose half their HP in doing so, what was the point? So some heavy can reap the rewards and then get wrecked because they are slow loading, and can't move as fast. Blitz on many occasions is a thinking game, like chess. Can I damage that tank, do I have cover to retreat behind while reloading, where are the rest of the team, what is the team made up of? all questions that change battle to battle...Patience is indeed, a key factor, as is awareness of your surroundings. You often get the mouths shouting, 'move' 'attack' go here go there,,,more than often, they haven't got a clue what your plans are, or why.
Too many just YOLO off to die without even thinking about how useful a LT can be at the end of the game on mopping up.
don't camp and snipe with a light. I understand with a td because that's td's job but your job is to spot enemys on the field not hide and do small damage if any. there is always someone like you on my team who never understands the roles of lt, ht etc...
in WoT PC maybe but these maps are too small in Blitz+ you don't get enough XP from it and it doesn't help the team that much because most players are shit. It's best to do the damage by yourself
It depends on the battle and the map. I don't usually sit like this in most light tanks but this one can do so much damage, it can be a good tactic. I understand the roles (50k plus games means I'm not a noob) but you have to deal with different situations in different ways. 2.2k damage isn't small.
