**4K** Northern Carp Diaries - Carp Fishing at Mark Pitchers' Wood Pool 2022

- As part of our growing content list we have now included another northern venue which doesn't need much introduction, Everyone associated with angling will know who Mark Pitchers is by now and if you've been following his 'Carp Life' series then you'll know all about his own lakes in Yorkshire called Wainstones pool.
Well despite having to wait almost 2 years for this booking, we finally managed to cast a line at Mark Pitchers' Wood Pool, this pool is more of the runs water associated with the 2 lakes he owns, however we will certainly be back to fish the main Wainstones pool when we can.
Here is a video highlighting our recent 2022 visit to the pool with a feature from Mark Pitchers himself giving you a few pointers on how to fish it should you wish to fish it yourself!

Another great video guys 😃 the place looks better than when it was first opened at least and i'm sure there will be plenty of people wanting a crack at that. i'm also off to your second home in France next Saturday to hopefully get that lovely common 😆🤣

@@NorthernCarpDiaries it was a difficult week to be honest, with 3 months of hardly any rain we went there and had thunderstorms from the off and heavy rain, the temp change and rain turned the fish off as they started feeding heavily on the naturals, we had rain most of the week and had to move around a lot for fish, I had 4 in the end from Double to 36lb 4oz, my other mate had 2 40's and a 30 from Sluice and Long Chuck and my other mate had only 3 but he had a nice common out of Frogs at 49lb 6oz. Not sure you know but Daron has taken out the main tree at the back on Long Chuck so that could have also been against us, like I said it was a hard week with all 3 of us blanking still after 4 days and couldn't get the camper common but that's fishing ☺️, we've re-booked for April next year and yes food was very nice 👍.

Hi Darryl! Good spot! It was probably more an incorrect explanation on my part! What you want to say and what you do say when a camera is pointed in your face is very different but we try our best to provide the best content we can! We certainly respect all rules and adhere to them depending on which venue we fish at. 👍🏻
