@ShawnTubbs I'm looking forward to it. Watching your videos inspires me to play more often, and i thank you for that. Happy New Year to you and your family👍🏻🥂
Shawn you always create such entertaining intro pieces. While I know you can shred too, you don't just give us endless arpeggios. This particular intro song was really nice Strat neck tones. There is a distinct difference with analog delay pedals compared to digital. That slapback was really nice!
This delay has a nice color. Very cool of Vahlbruch to include a 3 band EQ. I like what pulling out the mids does. I know that you only demo pedals that you're personally interested in. I think you may be interested in checking out the Warm Audio WA-76P and I would personally like to know if you like it more, or less, than the Origin Effects Cali76. Now, I know you probably have an existing relationship with Origin Effects, but you would also do the best tone comparison of the two and are very familiar with the Cali76 and would be able to make a most accurate comparison. I would compare them myself, but I sold my Cali76 because it's noise floor was significantly higher than the Strymon Compadre and Union Tube & Transistor LAB, and DryBell Unit67 which are the pedal compressors I own that beat out everything else that I used to have. I've probably owned 40 compressor pedals.
Love the intro piece, like a collab between Hendrix and the Beatles! Pedal sounds gorgeous, especially with your 12-string thru it, and has some really nice features. And cool sweater, or should I say cardigan?
The first CD I ever bought as a teenager was The Violet Burning: Chosen. You and your brother (?) played on that album, right? I played it until the violet turned grey 😉 been hooked on your playing ever since. By the way: if you go were to keep only one humbucker and 1 single coil guitar, what brands / models would you keep?
Thanks so much! I played bass and guitar on that record with my brother Lonnie and then guitars on the "Strength" record. You can't go wrong with Gibson and Fender. Maybe a 335 and a Strat.
This pedal sounds really great and if I didn't already have my BOSS Space Echo RE202 I would think about getting one of these! hmmm maybe I should have both?🤔..oh dear...Thank you Shawn Tubbs, love the sweater! Hope you have a great 2025 buddy!!!
Vahlbruch makes some amazing pedals and your playing is excellent Shawn. What was that drive pedal you were using with p90 Tyler? Once love your playing and demos.
The magic ain't the pedal - the magic is the fingers and guitar selections for each track/run 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My absolute favorite guitar player
Wow, thanks so much, you're very kind!
Thanks Shawn for this demo ... and some tips :) I love delays...
That's a killer groove, Shawn. Tone and playing is amazing as always..👍🏻🤙🏻🎸
Thanks very much!
@ShawnTubbs by the way, are you releasing any music, like an album? I would love to hear more of your playing.
@@wayneassorto2192 I need to do a record one of these days.

Thanks so much! I really wanted to showcase the slapback sounds.
This intro song has something really Beatles to it!! Great!
Thanks very much. I was actually listening to a Jellyfish record that day and was inspired. Love the Beatles for sure!
