It appears the BJP government at centre and in different states are strategically and systematically trying to show that as if the judiciary has been losing its relevance.All the power have concentrated in the hands of the government by BJP which is setting a dangerous precedent.In some cases the Judiciary instead of tough is just giving advisory probably under tremendous pressure.This may pave the rise of authoritarian regime.Atleast the Supreme court should pass explicit order for the interest of the country.
This is another example of the BJPgovt.'s both Centre &State,todefy Highest Court ,setting example lawlessness.If the govt. doesn't obey the ruling of the Court,then clealy authoritarian is in full swing.

Are you out of your mind. No one is against demolishing illegal structure. It's only when something is being done out of revenge, is called out. 80% structures in India is illegal especially the religious structures. Nobody is against demolishing these structures. But when the government will demolish only one structure, it smacks of reprisal.

I don't understand why a notice is required if an illegal construction occurs. The competent authority should verify its record whether any approval has been granted. If no approval has been granted, it is illegal. Suppose, after approval, the construction is not as per approval but with deviation, the authority should video graph, build enough study, and ensure the construction is illegal. The illegal person is constructing a building without the approval of the competent authority. When the notice is received, he approaches the court with several arguments and sometimes, the court grant stay on the notice. The illegal construction commences again and the court proceedings take 4-5 years. The building is built, occupied, and sold and the illegal person has benefited and out of the entire situation, the court now allows the new buyer to become a party and the case goes on. This is the trend in India.
