It felt like the writers knew what fans wanted to see in a Sonic movie, and directly gave it to them in this movie. It’s just fan-fiction heaven.

Seeing their wholesome bond on big screen and everyone getting to know Maria has been a BIG dream come true this year! This Year of Shadow has exceeded these expectations that I had since 2011.

May I suggest you watch the Knuckles series they released between Sonic 2 and 3, I think it's 8 episodes and it's focused on Knuckle's and Tom's cop friend! It's pretty funny!!
Tails is so resourceful with Gadgets and Knuckles is always with strength. Saw this movie 2 years ago and man is was epic seeing Super Sonic with the chaos emeralds and Knuckles is now good together. Can't wait for you two to see Sonic 3 it's crazy.

Sonic 1 was still figuring out what direction it was going. Sonic 2 now knows what it wants to be and raised the stakes a bit more with Tails and Knuckles joining in on the adventure!
I think my only beef with the movies (apart from Jim Carrey not getting a fat suit until the third one) is that they treat the main couple like they're Sonic's parents. Part of what made Sonic fun for me in the original was his fierce independence and his ability to take on danger by himself. It's sort of like what the MCU did with Spider-Man. If Hollywood doesn't have the balls to give us actual Dick Grayson on screen, stop turning every other character into a Dick Grayson look alike.
Hope you guys also do the Knuckles series, it takes place some time before the third movie and it has some things that will carry over to the third part. Also, can’t wait for Sonic 3 when you react to it! It’s definitely the Deadpool and Wolverine for the SCU (Sonic Cinematic Universe).

Seeing knuckles on the big screen for his movie debut was awesome & Idris elba did a great job voicing the character. Plus tails has some cool moments too & was nice to hear his video game VA Colleen O' Shaughnessy to voice him in this movie.

I really love the sequel ❤️❤️ I think they stepped up the story and love to see the old characters return and loved seeing the new characters like Tails and Knuckles which was cool to see them band together with Sonic.
