  • Adana Turkey Tour | Crazy Street Food Tour 4K
I visited Adana on 21st January 2023, which was just two weeks before the huge earthquake that struck South East Turkey. Adana was the first stop of my ten-day tour across the South East of Türkiye where I also visited Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Harran and Tarsus Mersin. There are many things to do on a short trip to Adana. I visited the iconic Sabancı Merkez Camii mosque, the 2000-year-old historic stone bridge (Taşköprü), and the medical and dental museum.
The Adana clock tower is in the middle of the main market area and close to the Ulu Cami. It is also surrounded by many restaurants that serve the iconic Adana kebab and liver kebab (çiger kebap), as well as salgam (fermented pickled turnip/ purple carrot juice). I also tried the famous Bici Bici dessert which is made using ice shavings and syrup. Adana city really does have the best kebabs in the whole of Turkey - I have had many Adana kebabs, but this was the most authentic and delicious Adana kebab that I ever had!
We stayed in Adana Saray hotel which was within walking distance of the great clock tower, grand ulu mosque and restaurants.
We ate at the Büyüksaat Ciğrcisi & Kebapçısı İBRAHİM USTA which you can easily find just a few minutes walk away from the clock tower (Büyük saat).

The city looks incredible. Thank you for showing us another part of Turkey I wasn’t even aware of. Despite the devastating earthquake couple weeks after your visit; i’m sure the city will Insha’Allah rebuild and the spirit of the city will remain. Looks amazing. You can tell that you genuinely enjoyed every moment which you captured.
