Kids are so adorable with their first concert... this is normal procedure for any band...they "end" their set and then come back for an encore. It's not a "false ending." It's SOP - standard operating procedure. You can tell by the fact that the houselights are still down (as another posted pointed out). Once the houselights come up, then it's over.
He took out his earpiece at 2:10 and then puts it back in later, at 2:28. I'm assuming there was probably some static or he lost the beat in his piece. Obviously we're all playing the "could be" game, but I do agree with TakeAToor that it's impressive they fixed it without having to stop the song. You'd be amazed how many times I've seen bands literally cut out because the lead singer legit couldn't hear crap.
I want to see them live!!! they're coming to the UK in April! :D I'm hopefully going to see them :) and have a fun experience. ... Okay overused pun, I'll stop that. BUT I'M SO EXCITED
