This chapter is what all that training has lead up to. We need 4 units who can survive a round of combat with brave lance paladins. Caeda, Minerva, and Palla are guarenteed to be 3 of them but the 4th is tricky. Arran and Etzel are the only prepromotes in the game with good enough stats to do this but we can't get either of them in this run, that means we need to train a growth unit to promotion. After running the numbers the candidates with the highest CoS who can be fed are Cain, Abel, Ogma, Barst, Merric, Hardin, and Catria. Of these candidates only Barst, Merric, and Catria are likely to be able to do it without receiving any boosters. Catria is guaranteed to be good enough while Barst and Merric need 1 hp level which is practically guaranteed. When you factor in the cost to train I think Merric ends up being the best candidate. So why did I choose Barst? Well Dondon's strategy promoted Catria who is an A class unit, I wanted to show off what the B class strategy looked like as it's a bit more complicated. As a side note, if we were unable to get Catria to promote and Barst and Merric somehow didn't get the stats they needed a fallback option is to use Samson who is 2HKO'd but with weapon triangle he has a very good chance of dodging at least one hit.
Also this chapter we see why Abel was getting deployed in the previous 5 maps as it allowed him to build up a support with Palla to boost her hit rates by 5. Aside from boosting reliability, this also showcases that training Abel doesn't really have any advantages over Cain as an unpromoted Abel can still provide Palla with all the support bonuses possible.
Oh also now that we have Hammerne the game is about to fall apart.

The convoy use to trade the thunderbolt so Beck can still move after receiving it was incredibly big brain. Idk how I keep being surprised by these convoy shenanigans but damn.
