Thanks for the lesson, helped me wire a new 4-wire to my existing 3-wire. Only negative is on the company as the outlet here in Fredericksburg no longer sells to the general population, had to get the motor from your competitor.
I just had one of these motors installed on my MILLER package ac unit and it was the 1/4 horsepower 1075 rpm motor and it replaced a 1/8 horsepower 1100 rpm motor and so far it's working great
I printed out the 3 wire schematics to have in front of me when out by the A/C. My a/c has a 4 wire motor & separate capacitor which I'm now planning to change. will do away with the separate fan capacitor. FIRST, I need to be sure the dual run capacitor, the fan side is the same uF as the fan motor which may have a different uF. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada
I replaced a 3 wire with a 5 wire. I hooked up everything as it was and as this video says except I have a brown/white and a red (low) wire nutted. It didnt work, but as i messed with it the red wire grounded out (wire nut was off) and the fan kicked on. I feel like I'm so close, any ideas?
Thank you for this video, I watched this to get me through a motor replacement on a rooftop to today!!
