Katie Herrero is a fertility patient who wants everyone to be more informed about PGT-A. She has started a petition on change.org. I'm honored to have her join me today to share her journey and her petition with us.
In today's show, Katie and I are talking about why she started this petition, what information she wishes doctors would share with their patients about their embryos, and what info you need to know as a patient before and after you do PGT-A.

We did not do PGT-A cause we are worried we only have 1 precious embryo but we hope for the best we did Blood genetic testing and we are good.
I wish our clinic had counseled us not to discard. Our chromosomal normal male embryo became a pregnancy with severe complications, he actually had a micro-deletion, we lost him full term. We donated our aneuploid embryos and one mosaic to research. It was little less than a year ago. I am so hopeful we can get them back. So much good advice here. we may have no embryos left. I am calling our clinic right away to see if they still have them.

Only 2 out of 7 of my embryos were genetically ok. 5 are abnormal 😭
I had the same result on my 1st ivf retrieval...
On my second retrieval I got 15 blastocysts, after pgt a testing, we got 1 normal embryo and two low mosaic embryos... my nurse emailed me saying that she's very sorry... I'm not sure what she's apologizing for... what does this mean? And is this really that bad of news?
Please do you get pregnant with the 1 normal embryo
