I feel like a lot of younger people don't get why Avril call herself "princess" in so many lyrics. Back in the day, a lot of the music critics called her "princess" in a bad way. Like: "She's a princess trying to be edgy" and stuff like that. She then took the word and ad the mother*ing to it.
