Retirement becomes truly rewarding when you have two key components: a solid financial foundation and a clear sense of purpose. Making wise investment decisions is crucial to achieving strong returns and enjoying a secure retirement.
You’re absolutely correct-financial advisors have access to strategies and opportunities that aren’t always available to the general public. I earned £560k in 2022 with guidance from my fiduciary advisor. Am I cashing out? Definitely not. I’m taking a step back to watch how the market evolves.
@IsabellaJane-r4w The advisor I rely on is Rebecca Lynne Buie, a licensed professional. A quick search will provide the information needed to get in touch and arrange an appointment.
@@CarddtReddt Thank you for the recommendation. I did some research on Rebecca Lynne Buie, and fortunately, I found her details. My goal is to retire in five years, and I’m hoping her expertise can help me make that a reality.
I started rally running the numbers a couple years ago and around a year ago i got serious and discovered I could retire right then if I wanted to. I told my coworker but not my employer, 3 months ago I told my employer I was leaving on September 27 wanting to give them time to get someone in todo a knowledge transfer. I was thinking they might not be able to get some in but we got someone who could start 2 weeks before my retire date. they are very sharp with just the right experience to fill my role at work. I was going to leave whether they found someone or not but am glad they did. I can leave knowing its in good hands. I can tell you one thing though, work hits different when you no longer have to be there. Friday was my last day. looking forward to tomorrow, my first real day of retirement.
At 4 months before my 50th getting a medical diagnosis that is going to affect my quality of life after the treatment, I wish I could retire now. Number crunching says 55 isn't an option, so 10 more to 60 when the numbers say I can.
Enjoy your content and getting closer to making a retirement decision myself in a couple years. Have you done any planning within the scope of VA disability ratings? e.g. 50 or 75 or 100% Kinda curious how it may impact SS or retirement planning.
It seems like for all the different input factors into Right Capital, the one that has the overwhelmingly largest impact is the post-retirement portfolio selector. The difference between conservative and growth is stunning. How do you account for this? Is there a right choice here?
Can you discuss strategies when planning for retirement and pursuing relocation and purchase of a home at once? This from the perspective that you can easily qualify for mortgage while working vs as retiree. Planning both things at once can be tricky. Thanks!
Great video, Ari! Been meaning to ask. What's your favorite MLS team? Or are you a soccer snob (my friend said he is) and only like teams from the top 5 leagues? 🤣
I rented the piss out of my house 20 years ago with help from the web.. I pay for nothing. So I retired in my 40’s Best thing I ever did. Yes ! There’s many ways. Might take courage
Ari, You and James have provided such a gift of thoughtful content! I have been on autopilot with just stashing away money in my 401k for so long. But last spring my boss who is 20 yrs younger asked what my plans were for retirement. I came back with at least 8-10 years since the government would probably push the goal post to 70 by the time I got there. This simple interaction flipped a switch to cause me to start being more intentional with scrutinizing where I was and what I need to do to be where I want to. NOT at your 2M threshold but the concepts you present are priceless. Keep up the good work and I pray you are rewarded with both tangible success and the joy from knowing you blessed others lives.
I have watched a lot of your videos recently does your software account for reinvesting RMDs that force you to over withdraw from your retirement back into taxable brokerage

In the academy software, you can model the tax free disability pay.

The right choice is having a custom allocation for you and your goals. See this: th-cam.com/video/Swy3YZur_Bw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6j6oQO4U4MtA0w7k

Thank you. Burnley #1, Arsenal #2, and for MLS - Galaxy!

Anti cookie cutter!

Thank YOU, Steve. Your comments make it worth it. Time for intention.

Yes. Software is custom and withdraw strategy is the main reason I chose it.

Does the two million dollars include real state or not?
No
I had a good laugh at horrible bosses comment
Ha, thanks.
