This man did a lot for Minnesota as much as the Second British Invasion did for the rest of the country, but it means nothing to me as a Minnesotan myself. Even with that story out of the equation, his lyrics and portrayal of women in his 1980s output are alarming, to say the least. 'Lady Cab Driver' is such a strong example of this. It's always maddening when a "music legend" does upsetting things under our noses. A true hero stays true to their name.
