This mod is one of the first things to do on a ST, or any manual car in general. It changes the dynamic of the car like day and night. It's the best mod I have done on my FiST200 price wise so far. Bigger impact than the Mountune exhaust.
Just got mine installed. I thought it was OK before, but now it shifts like a Honda or something. Feels great, and the MP215 just makes it even better. There are faster tunes out there, but it's great for a daily driver.
To keep this short. I'm a part of a couple ford fiesta ST groups on Facebook. I've noticed a couple of the younger boys promote their channels within the group. An option for you perhaps?
I would only do that in the Mountune group where it is relevant, otherwise I think it is just annoying when I see that, it looks like a desperation move for people with bad content
Hey Adam, how are you. Quick question, i just snapped the light retainer clip that holds the light in place. It happened because i didn't pull it out perfectly straight. I ordered some parts that looked the same called a fiesta light retainer clip. Wondering if it happened to you first time i pulled it out it snapped. Everything else was fine.
hello did you know where i can buy a st logo for the hole (sorry for my english i'm french) i know you made a video but i don't have a 3d print and i don't know where i can buy this already done
Just a thought: just snapped on a AS performance elbow intake pipe. Much cheaper than the mountune one which is part of the mr265 upgrade. Does add a bit or urge up in the revs and a cool swooshy sound at close to max output :)
Fabrice Dispot Funny you should mention this, I actually have the mountune kit waiting to go on 😀 How did you find installation? Seems like an awkward thing to get at
Fabrice Dispot is it worth it? I currently have the mr230 and tempted by getting the cross over pipe but not sure if it's worth the money without going full 265, and better response /sound ?
Cheers, difficulty level I would say is medium, mainly because of the tight space making it quite fiddly and awkward. You could remove the battery and battery case which would open up the area and make it more convenient but then that a bunch of extra steps
Hi great video! Just a quick question, would it benefit you to take the battery out as well? Looks to me it’s in the way a bit and I don’t know if I’d be able to do it within such a tight space 😂😂
Great video Adam, just got an ST200 and thinking of doing this. Is it easy to revert to stock if I don't like the feel? Just wondering how hard that pin is to get back in...
The only annoying part would be the ball end, it would need to be hammered back in with enough force to get it in but not so much force as to damage it. I am sure it is possible though!
They keep the quick shift from moving around, making it extra stable and secure and makes sure doesn't wriggle back and forth which could cause the main bolt to come loose potentially
Adam Rainey lol. Well I would not have guessed that mate. Keep the videos coming please bud. It is keeping me going as I still have 4 months to wait to get mine 🤔
@@AdamRainey I checked around TH-cam, seems a bit more straight forward than this. Wouldnt have the confidence to try it myself. Airfilter/oil filter about the furthest Ill ever get lol. Thanks lad. Which part of the green isle are you from? Definitely not a townie accent for sure
@@AdamRainey Some accent you got lad haha. Thanks for the reply, definitely looking into this. You can extract some power from those 1.0l ecoboosts, seen one up to 204 or 214BHP after remap, exhaust and induction.
I’m in the middle of putting a short shift adapter on and I noticed the selector arm has play in it. Up and down movement while it’s in neutral, is that normal?

Good effort getting as much detail as that into the vid in such a tight space. I will be coming back to this one day when I need it.
Fordy Ford Cheers mate, it was certainly not easy to get the camera angles!
Your videos are always great man! Thank you for taking the time to make them. You are the 'go to' youtuber for mountune fiesta in my opinion!
Cheers mate! That's what I am going for and more!
Awesome! Wish you the best of luck. I've just bought a totally stock frozen white 2016 st3. what would be your first mods?
So glad I found your channel. Brilliant clear explanation of install which I can't wait to do myself. Thanks very much!
Hi Kossofffan! I'm glad you found my channel too, thanks for watching!
Was one of my first mods makes it so much nicer to drive worth every penny !!
Absolutely Simon, I should have done this sooner!
Thanks for the video, great help. It ain't easy doing something like that while trying to record it on camera as well. Hats off to you man. Subbed!
Cheers Sam! Indeed it can be tricky filming these things, my installs tend to take twice as long as normal because of it!
Can't wait to see how it drives!
So far so good, great mod!

I agree, I thought it was fine before hand but now it is just on a whole new level :D And again I agree, as a daily driver it is fantastic!
Mountune should reach out to you for some sort of endorsement, the amount of products you have. Interesting video though! Thoroughly enjoyed that.
That would be amazing but very unlikely without having a much larger social media presence :( One day perhaps...
You best promote your ass off then 😎
I do what I can :)

Nice video, as always your tutorial vids are really detailed, im thinking of doing this one day too, a buddy of mine has it and it feels really great
Cheers Joe, I would definitely recommend it, having driven it for a little over a week now the difference is really sweet!

Nice video as always mate
Thanks Alistair!
Fitting this made me want to give up the Will 2 live 🤯 far more difficult than symposer delete 🙈
Hi Adam! Nice vid. Also have it on mine and it makes the drive even more fun! Looks like you are sticking with the upgrade route after all ;)
Cheers Fabrice :) For now yes but always keeping a look out...

Have 2 left hands... so I get it done by my tuner. Looked quick n' easy though! My next move is a downpipe: already ordered =)

Cracking content mate!
Cheers Rhodri! :D
That vs a weighted shift knob?
Hi Adam...very vid mate as usual keep up the good work...any decisions yet on what the next car Is?
Cheers James, no I am rather indecisive but keeping my eye out as always
Would that fit normal fiesta 1.4?
Hi Stephen, I think this particular part only fits the ST but there may well be a similar product out there for your fiesta
Nice one Adam, you made it look very easy. Not sure I would be confident fitting this myself.

I always try to get away with the minimum of dismantling but if you feel you would need more space then yea rip the battery and housing out
Adam Rainey awesome thank you!!

I didn’t catch what the purpose of the grub screws are. Can you explain their use please?
They keep the quick shift from moving around, making it extra stable and secure and makes sure doesn't wriggle back and forth which could cause the main bolt to come loose potentially
Adam Rainey
Thanks for the concise explanation. Much appreciated.
No probs mate, cheers :)
Good work on explaining and showing the install dude, but the throw doesn't look a great deal shorted than my stock '14 ST?
It is. Look at reviews, I doubt you will find many saying anything other than this being a great mod to do
Thanks for the video! About to go install mine! :)
Cheers Peter, enjoy!
Ever thought about carbon fibre wrapping your fuel tank cover?
Hello, no sir. If there was a real carbon replacement part available then I would buy that though :D
Yeah fair enough, I can't find one anywhere though , closest I came was ali express haha
Might not be so bad :D
Is this part compatible with a 2016 fiesta ST US version?
Hi Julio, it is yes! Available on the Mountune USA store for $159. Cheers!
Adam Rainey thank you very much :)
is this able to be combined with the short throw lever as well?
Don't see why not
ill be trying it soon then. just picked up an 18 FiST.
Ah cool, nice one!
Great video as always Adam mate. I’m curious as to what you do for a living because you’re very adept at doing your mods.
I work in IT lol

I try to live my work life separately ;) Will do mate, new vid coming on Friday :D
it was nightmare putting the bolt from the bottom but after many bestemmie i did it
How much different is this with a 1.0l Ecoboost engine?
I think the 1.0 is quite different

Probably normal. If you get it back together and can shift ok then you have done it right
Looks great, can't wait to do this to my car!
The holes dont line up with mine…. So I cant feed the screw in from the bottom. I‘m already at the second fucking day trying this.
Nice
