RIP Erik, and thank you for the music. This is the song that brought me to you, and I'm thankful I found your music. I'm sorry for your loss Mickie, thank you for sharing Erik with us. God Bless.
Me too...I thought I'd first heard it as the theme song in the movie Brokeback Mountain...& thought it was beautiful. After checking it's NOT the same song lol...but the 2 songs have similar vibes. Then I heard this on Soundscapes & now it's in my playlist. 💞 🎶
Erik, I first heard this on my Midco cable "soundscapes" channel. I sit in my toy room, working on my model airplanes. This is so beautiful. Thank you for increasing my productivity and enhancing my good mood. When I hear the opening notes, I stop what I'm doing for four minutes and relax. More please.
I first listened to this song about 20 minutes ago on Radio Paradise. Love it! I went searching for it on Spotify, Tidal and finally on Amazon, I found it.
I sent Mr. Goldsmith my singular petition regarding Erik's qualifications for RP airplay. Not sure if I was the only one. An amazing career from Alice to sublime melodic transport.
From Flo &Eddie, to Alice Cooper, Kim Carnes, Sonia Dada, a big favorite triple platinum band and this, his solo career. Did music for tv and films, glad I investigated.
WOW your story here is so cool. That would truly be amazing to do that. Your visuals are so rich and colorful. I absolutely love the people connecting with their hands. Really great work here Erik! Congratulations on this beautiful soothing music to heal the soul.
Was chilling out to one of those “mellow” streaming stations that I put on when I just want to zone out . . . Was doing just that when this came on. It’s wonderful when a song grabs your attention like that. Now I’m exploring what else he’s done. Was sad to read he recently passed on. RIP, Erik Scott.
The DeeJ thank you for the kind words, this is his wife Mickie Scott. Eski was working on another album before he passed and I plan on finishing as much as I can with videos. His music is a bit more contemporary than New Age class, but found a home here. Peace
Erik Scott Thank you, Mickie. I look forward to the other music. I am a “moody” listener with a wide and eclectic range. I think I took notice to this because it was slightly different. I love the video also. When I listen to just the music, I get a “driving through the desert at night with the top down and heat lightning flaring above vibe”! I live in Pennsylvania now so it’s a memory of a distant time.
Erik has 5 solo albums out thru the typical sales places and won awards. He also had quite a career since the 70’s I found out, like Alice Coopers Bass Player.
Thanks for this trip on Saturn guys with the dolphins- the serenity, the lightning strikes, the unfolding mystics - I'm going back for more - so see ya later!!
Jeff S Sorry Jeff..I just noticed yer question…fretless used is a Pedulla 1992 Buzz 4 string. The fretted is my Frankensteined 1963 Fender used-to-be-a-Jazz bass…now has 1983 EMG pickups. I say 1983 because they don't make them from the same materials anymore, despite what they might say.
Interesting, on the side panel there, it has the song list with no videos, guessing it was posted by a third party maybe? The category listings are strange. I like this however.
We noticed the odd and erroneous category listings as well. I don't know who or what (computer) assigned those genre/categories…but it wasn't us. This should be in the contemporary instrumental / new age category…like all of these recent recordings by Erik. Thanks for listening…peace.
This almost makes me cry, RIP Erik Eski Scott
Beautiful music i love this song so soothing and relaxing i miss you Eric ScottR I P
Immortality in sonic form. Peace to Mr. Scott & his family.

It’s peaceful where I am right now!
Traveling through my heart, Erik.

RIP Erik, and thank you for the music. This is the song that brought me to you, and I'm thankful I found your music. I'm sorry for your loss Mickie, thank you for sharing Erik with us. God Bless.
Finding out about his catalog of music, very interesting.
Truly sad to hear he’s gone. Trusting he’s surrounded by the peace and beauty he’s given all of us with his music. 🤍🪐

Me too just this year! beautiful song. Immediately got my attention
Wow got my attention right away while listening to Soundscapes.
Barry Clayton same. Heard as I was falling asleep and was absolutely inspired by the beauty of this piece.
New Age category..innovative pairing of melodic bass, steel guitar. gospel, church singing dolphins, HA . Spirits, and Saturn.

Thanks Topher T...Happy Halloween....All Rings Day they call it on Saturn 👽
GREAT!
I'm friends with the person who made this video.
Haha
What am I doing on here? Oh yeah, Alice Copper and Sonia Dada's band mate. Talk about being versatile.
Nu-Metal Fan I'll say!! This marks a very good musician/writer. I suppose I'm getting older now and appreciate good things. LOL
Earth got gypped, but here it has rings.
Jay Dovner I noticed that. Good deal!
HA...you made a funny!

What kind of fretless are you playing?
Jeff S Sorry Jeff..I just noticed yer question…fretless used is a Pedulla 1992 Buzz 4 string. The fretted is my Frankensteined 1963 Fender used-to-be-a-Jazz bass…now has 1983 EMG pickups. I say 1983 because they don't make them from the same materials anymore, despite what they might say.
Jeff S Good question, I was curious too.
Jeff S I have to give anyone credit for playing a fretless.
Good question and answer 🎸

Yeehaw
I'm no astro-biologist, but I don't think dolphins or whales could survive on Saturn
Speaking of peace
