Kinkella! You’re the man, the reason I became an archaeologist. I’m currently looking for a CRM job based on your recommendation!

Graduated from Moorpark back in 2018 after studying anthro there, glad to say I'm still learning from Kinkella even now. Thanks for the video!

I'm about to be Graduating from a college in florida. However, do not want to stay in this state. My only problem is I only have local archaeology experience from this area. I have to apply to a job in another location with no experience there...

That's okay, especially if you are not moving too far. If you are moving across the country it should still be alright, especially if your experience is CRM-based.

Do you have any recommendations for how to get into CRM without local knowledge, but several years of experience in another location/geographic region?

If I become a CRM, will I be able to come home to my family regularly?

Not at first. Jobs usually run for several weeks, where you are gone for the work week and come home on weekends (or gone for 10 days, home for 4). Later, as you progress through the industry, it can get more controllable. This story is typical, but there are lots of exceptions. I did lots of part-time work where I was able to come home at night.
