- In this 1-hour tutorial, I'll guide you through the ins and outs of one of the most critical steps in data science and machine learning. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced data scientist, this course will equip you with the tools and techniques you need to effectively transform raw data into features that can be used to train machine learning models.
In this video, we'll cover everything from the basics of feature engineering, such as dealing with missing data, handling categorical variables, and scaling data, to more advanced techniques like feature selection, feature extraction, and feature construction. Along the way, I'll demonstrate these concepts using real-world datasets and Python code, so you can see exactly how to apply these techniques in practice.
By the end of this course, you'll have a deep understanding of feature engineering and be equipped with the skills and knowledge you need to take your machine-learning projects to the next level. So if you're ready to master feature engineering, hit that play button, and let's get started!

Simple beautiful explanations, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
we can extract features like the number of male and female passenger in ship
Hi. What is the difference in the titles: "Creating Bins" an "Binning Using Decision Tree Split" shown in video at 38:40 ?
There are two separate sections but code looks same to me, what brings about the difference ? Is it the numbering of bins ?
Creating Bins is manual (you define the ranges), while Binning Using Decision Tree Split is automatic (algorithm finds best splits based on target variable). Same code might appear in the video, but the logic behind bin creation differs.
Where I can get this code???
Very helpful, thanks
