I totally agree on the Versace DB. I can rarely smell it on me almost right out of the gate. So much so, I gave the remainder of my little decant to my neighbour buddy and couldn’t believe how beat mode it was on him…and totally loved it.
Could smell it in the air, outside, from a good 30 feet away, with only 2 small sprays on him.
And ya…love my Rasasi Hawas!!

I have Versace DB and Kenzo homme edp and I agree they are beastly. One I would add to the list (I know, it’s not cheap) is le male elixir. I went to the mall a few weeks ago and did one spray on my hand, it lasted 24 hours with strong projection and sillage. I kept getting whiffs of it the next day. Super potent stuff!

I work at a coffee shop and everytime I wear Barakkat Satin Oud, not only do I get complemented, but I regularly smell myself even after 7-8 hours and don’t get me started on clothes
Wow they let you wear fragrance around the coffee. Coffee pulls scents to it

@@curlyhairdudeify it does. I worked in a coffee processing plant lap doing quality control. Zero fragrance was allowed in the entire plant because of that. Coffee had to be stored in special bean bags one yt hey were expose out of the husk. check a Starbucks worker as well and they will tell you that is one rule for all employee who work there
I picked up Emir Leuer D’espoir Ambre from your recommendation and it’s definitely a beast. It’s smells really good also.

So funny, I was just rewatching your review on Paris Corner Lueur D’Espoir Ambre because it’s not well known and I’m wearing a sample of the fragrance today.
You are so right about the quality of the raw materials used. To me the beginning smells a bit synthetic and I can’t compare it with the real Ombré Nomade from which I’ve read that it also smells synthetic, but it’s just so good. It mellows down and gets less synthetic to a point I would almost say it’s natural smelling. The fragrance is very present and unique and therefore I have to get a full bottle.
I would also like to add ARMAF Untold on this list, it’s very beastly. I agree with Hawas, my best summer/spring frag
I had 13 fragrance in my collection. Finally, i came down to YSL Y edp(for hot summer) and versace dylan blue( for cooler weather or winter)

Of these I have *Afnan 9pm and Kenzo homme edp* and I can say for sure they both have fantastic performance, considering the price it’s surprising how good 9pm is! I kind of get what you mean about Kenzo homme being slightly synthetic but it’s not a negative to me. Both great recommendations

HAWAS - not a beast mode at all (it was one day)... its weak now.. I can spray it 10 times.. it will be ok.. I have to spray in clothes for good 8 hours
dont get me wrong.. it will last 6-8 hours.. smell is great.. but not a beast mode anymore.. I got mine this year.. like 2 months ago.. still weak
I applied it in one arm... and turathi blue in the other.. i could just smell turathi.. hawas was very weak compared
also I heard 9pm is also watered down...
9pm is 🔥 heard you and another reviewer talk about it, so I pulled the trigger and I’m very glad I did! Thanks Ross for the transparency and honesty in your reviews brother.

@@SpaceStrike this stuff is loud, it’s one of those fragrances where even if you don’t think it’s there it definitely is. 3-4 sprays will last all day in my experience. I have been working 12s lately with about 2-2.5 hours driving on top of it and I can still catch whiffs on my way home. Definitely worth the price, excellent quality and fragrance! Hope this helps, and in all honesty I may experiment with 2-3 sprays and see how that does.

@@J.Beavers I have a sample and I def life it. It’s very sweet sandalwood to me. It doesn’t last as long as 9pm though, but I think 9am dive is nicer than CDNIM, because it’s more woody and a tad of sweetness, but not Smokey
I’ve been rocking Versace DB for the last 5 years as my sig frag. I always by the 100ml size and i’m on my fourth bottle. It’s a swiss army knife and my all time most worn frag.
But, guys I gotta say this last bottle I picked up in May of this year just does not have the punch or the endurance of my previous bottles. I think it was reformulated to be weaker or something.

HAWAS is probably my fave frag of all time - it's so damn good. Managed to finally pick up a replacement bottle today in the UK at a sensible price. Crazy prices over the summer !

Versace Dylan Blue always amazes
Joop le parfum is great and it's very hard to find but Joop Homme Edp is a beast similar to the most wanted parfum Intense and stronger with you flankers Cool Water Intense will choke you out but it's great in a diffuser and Hawas is so good especially when it is 80 or above
I am also someone who didn’t care for Dylan Blue when I first got it. Not sure if the ambroxan was too intense for me, or the peppery smell was too harsh on my nose but I did not enjoy it. Now my bottle has macerated a bit and my nose has changed a bit and it’s so pleasant. It smells so much more round and deep compared to when I first got it. Anyone who may feel the same as I did initially, just let your bottle sit for a few months and come back to it. Trust me.

I have joop homme le parfum...it is great..one of best perfumes in 2023,classy and smells more expencive.Afnan ,9pm is great, rasassi hawas is also great.Dylan blue is great,I am not bigest fun,but once me and my friends try three perfumes :bad boy,ombre leather and dylan blue...dylan blue kill them with projection and longivety.davidoff cool water is great scent,beautiful and long lasting..all of them which I write are great performance

Got hawas about 3 weeks ago. It smells great but I get about 4 hours of longevity. I thought i going nose blind but even the people around me couldn't smell anything. I don't know if it has been reformulated, but even if it was, the performance shouldn't be this bad

Joop parfum is a brilliant fragrance and very long lasting, i have Kenzo homme intense and wow that is a huge performer! I have over 60 fragrances, many much more expensive than these 2 but these 2 are definitely 2 of the strongest. Agree with coolwater intense, nothing like the original but for the money a great buy too.

I think I have the most weird skin chemistry known to man. I cannot for the life of me get anything to last in skin, tried lotion, Vaseline, changing body washes. But nothing makes my scents last. The only two I’ve had success with is Eros EDP, Armani Code Profumo (those somehow last 24+ hours in my skin

Maybe it’s sinuses. That can totally affect your ability to smell.

If you like Eros EDP definitely try Eros Flame. It's like 3 times stronger. Can't imagine anyone not getting nuclear performance from it

Kenzo Homme EDP should not be sprayed more than 3 sprays. Don't get me wrong it smells great but it's strong and projects. It lasted on my t-shirt for a week. DO NOT WEAR IT TO CHURCH.
