- Paul Rodgers, performs his Original Song "Muddy Water Blues" live with The Strat Pack. The Strat Pack Live in Concert is a film of a September 24, 2004, concert featuring Joe Walsh, Gary Moore, Brian May, Hank Marvin, David Gilmour, Mike Rutherford and many more, marking the 50th Anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster guitar. The film was released in 2005.
Muddy Water Blues is a Tribute to Muddy Waters and is the second solo album by Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company fame.
About Muddy Waters: McKinley Morganfield (April 4, 1913 - April 30, 1983), was known professionally as Muddy Waters, was an American blues singer-songwriter and musician who was an important figure in the post-war blues scene, and is often cited as the "father of modern Chicago blues".
Muddy Waters' music has influenced various American music genres, including rock and roll and rock music.

Rogers looks and sounds the same was he did 50 years ago. One of the greatest rock and blues/rock,vocalists of all time.

First saw him playing with Free at Eel Pie Island. Would have been maybe 1970/71? My go to band are Free when I need a shot of the best.

As a Young singer in bands 40 plus years ago I modelled myself after people like Paul Rodgers, Paul McCartney, Joe Cocker. We did some free songs and some bad company stuff.Tried to sound just like him. His vocal phrasings are as good as Plant. Soulful, the voice as an instrument. I hope he keeps going

Although we associate Paul with incredible vocals, he will surprise us now and then with a little guitar work: when he originally would perform "Can't Get Enough" with Bad Company, he used to accompany on the guitar solo, and of course, he would always perform "Seagull" by himself playing the acoustic guitar.
@DrGargani He also played all of the instruments on his first solo album.

Yvo, yes it's Andy FL in the backline. He was a great blues guitarist often playing with Eric Clapton etc. Imagine Paul Rodgers and Andy singing "Gin House Blues". Bliss
