so me and my dad own a 2015 can am commander xt 800 and when u start off the clutch like make a sound and goes back and fourth and I think it is the belt but my dad said that all can ams do that is that true
I wish I had bought the Commander XT-P. Instead I bought the 2017 Polaris General. I have had several issues with it, like the doors are falling apart, Power steering works only at times, and the engine let me down on the last ride by only idling. No throttle responce! Dealer said it probably won't happen again, but did order me a Throttle position sensor! I haven't received anything as yet, as the parts are still ordered after 2 weeks! NOT GOOD!

Commander suffered from that pogo'ing in the front end since their first model was released... how long ago was that and still not solved?

I think you have a "Burnt" belt. This is when you will get this kind of issue
