Miyako has said that she was nervous showing it to the group because she was worried it wasn't "divine" enough, but they loved it. As with many of their more technical songs, they composed something even they found challenging to play, and then practiced until they could nail it. The live versions from "Five of a Kind" and "Heavy Metal Never Dies" are mind blowing.

My first song i ever heared from them was also "When destenies align" and at that time i was ot really that much into power metal, and i also thought her voice was quite not that good compared to the symphonic queens like Floor, Simone and Sharon for example. Then somebody gave me the tip to listen to the "e-songs" which are "Epilogue", "Edge of the world" and "Empty Daydream", and that really helped me to appreciate Asami much more and also after that i started to like her also more in the faster songs.

(From a Japanese perspective, Americans, Australians, and British all look the same.) Americans are always pretty clueless when separating Asian cultures. I hate when KPop fans say a Japanese singer or actor looks like a Korean when there is NO resemblance when you put them side by side - just sheer ignorance! Why are you comparing to begin with? My Japanese friends don’t like that at all. And Japanese really don’t look like Chinese - that’s an insult. lol
Has anybody told you that the singer is a trained ballet dancer? And surely you've heard of the Samurai. I'm pleased with the high score and hope that you pick out one of their performances where you see Asami show off her fancy footwork. 👍👍👍👍
Asami IS a princess, (sort of). Princesses don’t prance around or headbang…😂 The song is about how destiny bought them together and how nothing will stop their rise to the top, hence the samurai. Your “non favourite” guitarist wrote as complex a piece as they had done up to that point because only something that good should accompany words relating to the band itself. Check out any of the “E” songs to see how diverse a vocalist the stationary, monotonous vocalist is (British….sarcasm!) and Swansong (but WITH the Chopin intro) to see if Miyako can make up for guitar second place by being your favourite classical pianist…..As for the negative vibes, you did place your foot squarely between your teeth in the first reaction and, although not intentionally, have been slowly but surely shoving it further each time you find fault with the Princess. We don’t like this band, we revere them!

I get my rating may frustrate some, but I’ve been doing it for years and the ratings (for local artists) actually bear weight as a 9.3 or above (again for locals only) gets them on our Spotify playlist. Bigger artists tend to usually always be in the 9’s so that wouldn’t be fair to add everyone to those playlists haha. I just have a kickass time showing off dope music to my friends 🤘

it's JAPAN reference is SAMURAI warriors, Shaolin is China. Love this song it's their Anthem.
