Hi, Tanner, thanks for bringing us along to all your races. This track did look a little tight, and with a large field, when anything bad happens, it happens quick. At least you're gaining a lot of valuable experience. God Bless and stay safe.🤩

Hey man don't be so hard on yourself.. you are traveling and running with the best whether it's outlaw or high limit! You are very talented kid! Just take a step back in your head and don't always worry about what we (as in your fans think). I seem to pick up on that quite often in your videos when you have a bad night. IT HAPPENS! We as fans understand that at least true fans. Just focus on what you're doing and get yourself better. Your family and fans are behind you. Yeah we all want you to do great! But you need to take some of the stress worrying about how you're doing off your shoulders and you will be just fine! We and I'm speaking for all of us that are your true race fans understand how difficult this sport is.

This track was so small that a 360 powerplant or the 305 might have been an advantage. I remember in the 90s at Skagit someone running a sportsman car at dirt cup, he was truly impressive. Even though Skagit, when it flows right is better for the 410 but a good driver, in a reduced power car, with the correct setup will perform just as well if not better than a 410 that isn't setup properly. Run a smaller circumference tire on both rears, gears, will be just as competitive. It's the fellers who experiment that build the wisdom and along the line different approaches who gather the momentum. You mentioned low throttle and spinning tires. Don't want to bog the plant too much, however, as you said and I believe, forward bite off of the corner is crucial, does not matter at which track one is at. It looked as small as Skagit, not the banking but a bull ring for sure. This builds knowledge for the type of track, conditions. It definitely looked as though were moving around and not stable anywhere. When this is pronounced, just settle in and ride it out, take notes. One will get nothing if their race cut short via your own mishaps or through that of others. Too early yet in the season to see tracks dry out quickly, keeping an eye on the depth of moisture, ambient air temperature, etc. can be helpful. If you're not doing a spreadsheet, and graphed with all of the tracks you've run, all of the conditions, weather, humidity, car setups, maybe consider. I know it's a pain, maybe not something to consider but, if one cross graphs the variables, the possibilities for building might give one a leg up. Look at the haul trailers for many of the NHRA top contenders. A straight line yes but, information is key when evaluating your performance.
You did, what seemed a good job the other night but fell back eventually. After the nose wing. Setting up a car that is great when the track has moisture, most can achieve, however after 20 laps has clocked, conditions change, fuel load is less, etc.. You know all of this so, again out of the box thinking. Bank out a good time then change back to a mediocre wet set that can correspond later to a semi dry condition at mid race but still keep one from falling near the end.
Sorry for all of my babbling Tanner. You're doing a great job out there and with some of the best,. Remember, if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. I won't say, keep your chin up, head high or keep smiling. What I will say is.....Focus, and determination, absolute determination.....

Not sure if you said how many cars were in the main but I bet it's was enough to almost fill a strait. If that's the case then ya it is tough as woodpecker lips to get moving forward. I think on tracks like that you end up being happy if your just survive the race. But hey if the worse of the oweys is a smashed header then that ain't to bad. Thank you Tanner for still sharing all that you do with us all. I hope that you and all of your team is having a good one out there. Have fun take care

Would be interesting to see annual results from inside starts rows 2.3 and 4 seems slower to go. Where do you look when starting?? Is it possible to get Carli and 4 other drivers on a track to practice?? When in lower rows easier as cars more spread out but I feel somethings missing??

It's growing pains they will work out I know my last season 2011 I was ready to quit the season early you know the glory days were gone, the next weekend end I had a clean sweep got the pole for heat set new track record won heat pole for the a main and finish half track ahead of second. Keep your head up that's where God is and he will show you the way!

you didnt see that guy sideways stopped in the corner? you will get get comfortable as time goes on. so slow down and learn to drive not looking at the front of your nose wing. I always looked into the turns about halfway down the stretch. after 5 years I could drive like I drive on the freeway. looking around and comfortable. Of course I never made it big time so what do I know?
