@@shoddycast1455 It's not on steam - due to legal reasons. There is a moddb version though, somewhere. No clue where, don't follow it any more much.

@@mrnygren2 Pretty sure you mean ”Melker” the pronounciation of Melker and Melkor are not even close to each other.
Melkor is old English where Tolkien drew inspriations from, in old texts Melkor is refered Satan in Anglo Saxon Brittain.

The Whole of Eregion and large areas of Eriador were scarcely populated in late Third Age, following the cumulative misfortunes meeting the area: first the environmental cataclysms of both deforestation (by Númenóreans harvesting shipbuilding wood) and then the War of the Elves and Sauron in late Second Age.
Later, in early Third Age, the wars waged by the witch-king of Angmar against Númenóreans (first kingdom of Arnor, later its successor states) and mid-Third Age The Great Plague served to complete the depopulation of large swathes of land. When the Eorlingas arrived to help weakened Gondor in war some five centuries prior the War of The Ring, the northern province of Calenardhon (known as Rohan afterwards) which was given to them for settlement, was mostly empty (so no big issue for Cirion, Gondor's then Steward, to give it away.)
Those areas being 'rebel' (closest the game engine can come to 'uninhabited') is actually a good thing. It is worthy of note that (lore-wise) in late Third Age, heading North from Rohan via the Old Green Road, the first permanent settlement that could be called a 'town of men' would be Bree.
TLDR: it _ought_ to be empty. Because, reasons.

Good old mod for Rome TW, now in Remaster. I hope that the mod will be brought to mind and not abandoned, and maybe surpass Third age DaC in something
Just got it's public release, bit buggy but that's to be expected.
Surpassing dac is ambitious. But it seems to be an ok mod

IT is, i started playing last night as the Noldor.
"Lore accurate locations." Then why is Archet past weathertop? But still i'm looking forward to this.
It's released now, i'll have to check on Archet and see if it got moved.
I always knew that Melkor and PA were the same person : Your name is Melkor, he plays LOR Total war mods....... Isn't there a Minas Tirith in RTW as well ? I think you made a video on it once
Game crashed because the Walls of the Mighty Minas Tirith are supposed to be pretty much indestructible, so as it wasn’t lore friendly the game just stopped xD
Now that the mod is released i feel like Melkor can be tempted back to TH-cam 🤔

Respect to devs, but i don't understand why to make a mod on Lotr that is clearly gonna have less content and quality than Divide and Conquer?
There's a lot RR can do that Med 2 mods can't. Infinite factions, cultures, units, religions and buildings. 4K graphics. Tech trees are technically possible. It runs smoother, at least for most. Infinite, highly modable super-factions. Better scripts and more script options. More options for formable, emergent and civil war factions. Playable emergent factions. And loads of other stuff. I know Total Conquest has Empire Total War styled trade tiles.
