My girl passed and my boy is beside himself. He started plucking but when I turn Bruno on he stops and chirps back. It's the only distraction that works beside holding him. Thanks Bruno and Mom for sharing!
I'm so jealous. My Parrotlet doesn't talk. In fact he doesn't even make a lot of sounds at all. Sometimes in the middle of the day he will quietly chirpety chirp to himself but that's about it. We love him dearly anyways of course. But it would be fun. 🙂
I would watch some videos on how to stimulate your baby. When I get my bird on my finger and say words he turns his head and looks at me and tries to see what my lips are doing. That way I know he’s interested in that particular word and sound. I also let him hear other birds chirping and making noise on TH-cam videos period and that was really getting Bluno going. Eventually, he just started copying stuff including those bird sounds.
The stand is actually just something did you put a picture on and I’ll let bluenose stand on it sometimes. I know you can find something at Michael’s that might be similar. Remember, be careful of any kind of wood stand you put up because your bird can chew into it and you don’t want it to get sick.

I am going to work on some new things with Bluno. Hopefully he still has the ability to catch on quickly. I’m going to work on a new phrase….
