Good review mate, first thing I’ll say is I love the gameplay side of things, physics are great. However it is riddled with bugs. I play offline, and the ai is ruined since this update! Start a race when it’s soaking wet, track conditions are listed as greasy so ai start on dry tyres thenafter the start of the race changes to wet and the ai pit for wets, so end up nearly a full lap ahead! Then I did a sprint race, after my pit in the pit window I had 10 cars or so just sitting in the pit for no reason for lap after lap, half the field end up disqualified in some races! @@lucasart328 the lack of feel. Seat of the pants feeling you get from other sims. I found that to be lacking no matter how much I tweaked the FFB in this sim.
Does FSR work with SteamVR? Cheers.
Last time I read anything about it, it didn't work natively, but there was some sort of community mod that made it work. Sorry, I've not got the equipment to test for myself at the moment!
@@ChrisHaye Thanks mate, I'll take a look. I've a 6800xt but still, ACC in VR is one demanding mofo when it comes to VR performance.
Are these updates also in console?
The console updates usually follow later, since they're handled by a different dev team. The update will follow a little later down the line I'm sure. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Assume this is not coming to console?
my Opinion is that the FFB from rF2 is still better. Also the vr performance is still pretty sucky, even with DLSS
Can anyone tell me, i has 1080Ti and intel 10600k cpu, will Amd FSR will work on tripple screen setup?! Thanks.
FSR does work on triples from what I understand, and it'll work on your card as well. I would guess you are normally GPU limited, so there may well be a good case for some performance gains. It's hard to judge, beacause every setup is different though!
Anyone else getting UE4 AC2 game crash error?
wait, why is there a jag in the 2021 cars??
It's not, I recorder the voiceover then decided to add the M6 sequence.... then promptly forgot that I'd said the video was all 2021 cars. Sorry!
If they fixed the cars twitchy handling ( even at low speeds ) then I will be back. Still rate raceroom as the best overall sim out there.
no, thats so much worse now, its like the ffb has too much going on now
dont get me wrong i love acc and the new update ... BUT ... the thing with added ''they 2021 season'' is just not true imo ... we still miss magny cours and valencia for it to be true .. i rly rly hope they bring those tracks in the near future ;(
I want it so bad but i dont have the money for it currently since im upgrading my "sim rig"
ACC can be purchased for $13.59 until December 1st.
GT3: "Zzzzzzzzz"
DLSS: "Woohoo!"
Can't seem to get the FFB right compared to iRacing with a DD1. Braking feels much better in iRacing, while ACC feels numb and lock up doesn't really make it to the wheel feeling/weight.
Does it work in VR now? Let's be honest it's awful for VR
I agree. This has been the reason i rarely used ACC. Maybe the FSR and DLSS boosts Performance enough to make it work.
I didn't have a chance to test in VR over the weekend. I'm honestly not sure if my Rift still works... it's been a while! Mr Git seemed to think things had improved. And DLSS / FSR work in VR as far as I'm aware, so definitely worth an experiment.
@@xyrod - Mr Git has just posted his VR centric video: th-cam.com/video/kv8zLJP8Ads/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MrGit
I've not watched it, so I don't know if it answers your questions, but of the early testers I know he was big on the VR testing.
Thanks for the replies! I shall have a play around this week.
soo i guess we are not gonna have tires made of snow?
Edit: Cars are gonna be stixky enough to turn?
Too bad they only have the two classes. I never bought it for that reason
…only to run at spa or monza🙄 I stick to iracing
someone forgot to change the text at 5:47 tsk tsk tsk. :p
Dang...
*Sad console peasant noises*
I feel your pain, I discovered the first Assetto Corsa on PS4.
But not for the PS4, My biggest mistake in sim racing was listening to people telling me to begin sim racing with console, When i began interest in sim racing i had money to buy a PC, Now i have not, I went down the console route with great regret, I now have top driving rating aswell, But im being held back with limited software and hardware, Im out growing the logitech wheel, But again the only DD wheel i can afford is the new fanatec DD, But not for console, So again held back, Putting focus on profits an not actual sim racing is why....
Im 2 points away from the platinum as from last night, Will be buzzing when i hit platinum tho, Weather nice outside an i got a new bafang E-bike build, Get me some fresh air too but tonight i will be getting my platinum driver catogary fingers crossed, lol, Im dissapointed again how console is left behind while PC users get the update, Is it even coming to the PS4??
