    “We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
    and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.
    He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet he did not open his mouth;
    he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
    and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
    so he did not open his mouth.
    By oppression and judgment he was taken away.
    Yet who of his generation protested?
    For he was cut off from the land of the living;
    for the transgression of my people he was punished.” Isaiah 53:6-8

Daniel 9:24-27 Yahushua the Prince, the true son of the almighty God was crucified on the cross being cut off from the world, He died on the cross willingly laying his life down for us so that whoever believeth in him shall have eternal life, He was buried and Rose from the grave 3 days later and sits at the right hand of God in Heaven. Rabbi, I greatly enjoy your perspective and wisdom. I also have a strong testimony that The Book of Mormon is divine scripture. What a wonderful country we live in where we are free to express different view points, listen to each other, and grow in wisdom together. FYI, the “best” Mormons live in Northern Nevada and Idaho, not Utah, lol. God bless :)

    • @DrKaii
      @DrKaii 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love mormons, really awesome people. I also like that USA gives freedom to express, but one thing people definitely aren't doing is listening to eachother. Everyone wants to be heard, but nobody wants to listen (this is very sad, as everyone is thus extremely frustrated). I suspect that your goal here is to come and get us to listen to you, but you probably haven't listened to much of what Rabbi Friedman is teaching. Could be wrong, but that's generally the flavour you are emitting with your "testimony"

    • @jorgeharmstrong
      @jorgeharmstrong 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dr. Kali, that’s not what I meant to convey. I was just trying to convey I was Mormon because this expresses the idea that we all can learn from each other, no matter what faith to which we ultimately subscribe. Even if I’m a Mormon, I can still learn great wisdom from Rabbi Friedman. I actually was raised as an Ayn Rand Objectivist Atheist ... but that’s another story. However, I do understand how you could infer what you did now that I’ve re-read my comment ... my poor communication. “Testimony” is a popular phrase in the Mormon community. I do listen to what others say including Rabbi Friedman ... I’ve listened to many of his videos. I also spend time watching videos from Hindus such as Sadhguru and even esoteric Christians such as John St Julian ... there is so much to learn. I try to keep an open mind, even though I have a strong set of convictions based on what I’ve learned so far. I have no desire to convert others to what I believe ... that’s a very personal journey ... and anyone wise enough to listen to Rabbi Friedman does not need council from me. My goodness, the Hebrew traditions and faiths have compiled the wisdom from the greatest and most inspired thinkers since the dawn of civilization. Also, thanks for taking the time to reply to my comment.

      @@jorgeharmstrong I enjoyed reading your comments, the first one too, without misunderstandings. :) It's new to me that there were different qualities of Mormons. It makes sense. I talk with suspicion about jews from Tel Aviv and Brooklyn for instance. All I was aware about was that there are minority Mormon groups practicing polygamy (have up to four wives)?

      3 million Jews witnessed the giving of the Torah. How many witnessed the giving of the Mormon teachings?

      @jorgeharmstrong 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Suri Katz I’m not sure. All I know is my own personal witness. I apologize if my comments were interpreted to be pushing Mormonism on anyone. That was not my intent. All I wanted to convey is that I appreciate Rabbi Friedman’s videos, even though I’m Mormon. I found it humorous that the girl in the story was interested in joining the Utah Mormons.

Now Satan in Isaiah 14v12-16 lucifer or Satan said in his heart those things pride was there therefore him and a third of the angels thrown out of heaven. Question. Ultimately they think they are in control but do God's dirty work allowed to buffet attack those for testing like Job or attack those disobedient correct? Yet Satan goes around like a roaring lion seeking to devour therefore if allowed comes to lie destroy decieve. Examples Adam eve Job Cain etc.

    SAMUEL'S NUMEROLOGY for the name
    IAACOV AND ISRAEL
    IAACOV has numerical value VN = 191. As explained in the ENSAMBLE ECHAD for the name NOÉ, with 191 greater than 150, we add 1 + 9 + 1 = 11; then your NS = 11.
    According to RASHI Iaacov it is the GOLD LAMP which in Hebrew, this phrase has VN = 705; therefore NS = 11 (FIRST "COINCIDENCE").
    Yaacov was born in the year 2108 of the Hebrew calendar; logo NS = 2 + 1 + 0 + 8 = 11 (SECOND "COINCIDENCE")
    The city of Iaacov's PROPHETIC dream was called BET-EL having VN = 443; logo NS = 11 (THIRD "COINCIDENCES").
    Iaacov's last years of life were in a region called GOSHEN which has VN = 353; NS logo = 11
    Iaacov was called EVER by Potiphar's wife, who, according to RASHI, was a Prophetess. EVER has VN = 272; logo NS = 11 (FOURTH "COINCIDENCE")
    Iaacov pronounced his last Prophetic phrase "I will join my people" and this phrase has VN = 191 which is the same VN as the Name Iaacov. Although this "COINCIDENCE" does not depend on SAMUEL'S NUMEROLOGY, it was also inserted here because it is your NS = 11
    RASHI finds a way to explain that Yaakov was in fact the Firstborn; in Hebrew BECHORAH which has VN = 227; logo NS = 11 (SIXTH "COINCIDENCE")
    According to RASHI Iaacov was separated from his son Iossef for 22 years.
    The name IOSSEF has NS = 12: so if we add 11 + 22 = 23 meaning that they actually UNITED in the twenty-third year (SEVENTH "COINCIDENCE")
    And the place of a great event during his funeral took place at Goren-Ha'atad VN = 272; logo NS = 11 (EIGHTH "COINCIDENCE")
    These are the main "COINCIDENCES" of Iaacov's life confirmed by SAMUEL's EXOTERIC NUMEROLOGY observations
    EXOTERIC Commentary on the Word SHECHINAT EL and ISRAEL
    Most Reverend Rabbi. Shechinat El (THE DIVINE PRESENCE) is the Nation Israel.
    The word SHECHINAT EL has a numerical value VN = 811 and, because it is GREATER than 150, it admits the CONTRACTING (TSINTSUM) of SAMUEL'S OBSERVATION giving NS = 8 + 1 + 1 = 10.
    The word ISRAEL has Numerical Value VN = 541 and, for the same reasons, it admits the CONTRACTING NS = 5 + 4 + 1 = 10.
    Also, from the PURE OBSERVATION of the Holy Scriptures I noticed that for each NS value of a Special Word in TORAH, like SHECHINAT EL and ISRAEL, there is a PSALM in the indication found in the Book of Psalms by Ohel Yossef Yitschak de Blessed Memory.
    Therefore, ISRAEL'S PSALM is Psalm N. 10 (TO CONTROL HATE)
    In fact the Patriarchs have been in conflict and WE OBSERVE:
    Hate between
    Hagar VN = 208. . . . . . . . NS = 10
    Sara VN = 505. . . . . . . . . NS = 10
    Hate between
    Ismael VN = 451. . . . . . NS = 10
    Issac VN = 208. . . . . NS = 10
    Jacob and Essav are not listed because according to RASHI they will meet again in the MESSIANIC TIMES.
    But there was hatred only by TAMAR but not by Yehudá
    Tamar VN = 640. . . . . . . . NS = 10
    We still have many EXOTERIC OBSERVATIONS regarding the TRUTHS of TORAH and, in particular, the Words Shechinat El and Israel.
    My cordial Shalom

    God does not have "a plan". "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps." Proverb 16:9. Plan is a word used of humans. With God we have words like council. God declares the end from the beginning. God watches over His word to perform what He says He will do. God will cause His word to prosper. He should not attribute what is human, ie making plans, to God.

  • @michaeljacobs5342
    @michaeljacobs5342 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Many thanks Rabbi for the very interesting teaching. The concept of Satan is a most confusing issue to understand. In some circumstances Satan is defined as opposing Gd's plans, then as now suggested is actually a vehicle for Gd's plans, a kind of double agent. This also causes a great deal of difficulty in understanding the mind of Gd and His true nature?

    • @gojoe2833
      @gojoe2833 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      G-d created an imperfect, incomplete world and asks humanity to perfect it. Part of G-d's plan includes the Satan, whose job it is to challenge us and make us work harder to perfect the world. It's definitely not an easy task, but the more effort we put into the project, the more we get from it :-)

    • @michaeljacobs5342
      @michaeljacobs5342 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gojoe2833 Thank you very much for your reply concerning my confusion regarding the function of 'Satan' in this world. It certainly seems to be a shift in the true nature of G-d as being all good, perfect and pure in every aspect. That, the evil inclination was of human nature, Yetzer HaRa due to freedom of choice and freewill in respect of the knowledge of good and evil? Is it still appropriate to pray to an evil G-d? In respect of this theological concept, just to quote a Holocaust victims message scrawled on the wall of a concentration camp: "That, if there be such a thing as G-d he would have to seek man's forgiveness".

    ZEIR ANPIN-SAMUEL'S NUMEROLOGY
    Most Reverend Rabbi. I was struck by the fact that the Sacred Name ZEIR ANPIN Vav, He, Vav appears in position 1 and 49 of the 72 Sacred Names.
    I found that the Numeric Value of this Name is 17; because it is less than 150 your NS is equal to 17 as I explained in the ENSAMBLE ECHAD for the name NOÉ (NOACH)
    SHEMUEL and SAMUEL Lamed, Alef, Vav, Mem (Sin or Shin) have Numerical Value VN = 377 so they have NS = 17 because 3 + 7 + 7 = 17. That is why this Prophet; as well as EZRÁ (ESDRAS) whose name has VN = 278 have the NS of the Sacred Name ZEIR ANPIN.
    According to RASHI when adding the letter He to the Biblical names we elevate that name to the state of divinity as from Avram to Avraham.
    Thus, if we add the letter He to the names Shamaim (heaven) and Arets (earth) we find the Sacred Points above and below which are Gd particles that when exploding gave origin to the earth and the universe in the BIG-BANG theory
    Hashamaim VN = 395 logo NS = 17 ZEIR ANPIN and,
    Haarets VN = 296 logo NS = 17 ZEIR ANPIN
    And, as by SAMUEL NUMEROLOGY, each NS corresponds to a PSALM in the indication found in Ohel Yossef Yitschak's Book of Psalms:
    PSALM 17 (BEFORE YOU TRAVEL)
    For these particles were about to travel through GOD'S BLOW as well as the Israeli People in EXODUS / Tav, Vav, Mem, Shin VN = 746 logo NS = 17
    Both, both the particles and the Israeli people, before traveling HEADED (in Hebrew VAISHA / Ayin, Shin, Yud, Vav) VN = 386 then NS = 17 as they followed Gd's Will.
    We can believe that both left on the first day of CREATION which is called SUNDAY / Num, Vav, Shin, Alef, Resh VN = 557 logo NS = 17 ZEIR ANPIN
    Because SHABAT is REST day being forbidden to travel
    My cordial Shalom

      Collective Mind those doing crime or evil are making wrong decisions and they WILL get what is coming to them. The media is pointing out what’s wrong in the world. But no one is pointing out what is right with the world. So we have the minority looking like the majority all because the media says so. Lies. Who we need to work with is the younger generations that are being brainwashed into a narrative, the innocent people being trapped in religious constructs and political agendas.
      It is interesting to see how people will follow a mass without hesitation. It’s beautiful to notice the innocence in blindly following. Yet it’s confusing because it can be ignorant to blindly follow. So as the Rabbi asks us, what do we do? We create a new path. We know that it is not up to us to punish or judge, who would want to? As we understand that we are eternal, what is going on around us doesn’t have as much impact. This is but a little tiny spec of time in our forever. Allow yourself to let go of seeing in black and white, good or bad. Focus on seeing life in color.
      Focus on smiling, focus on being the person that makes others feel good. Know that the bad will be dealt with and truth is being and will be fully revealed. I’m not saying ignore the bad, I’m saying don’t focus on it. Pray about it. If we are called to step in to help stop it in some form, we will. But until then, it’s got enough attention. Let’s be happy in the midst of what can feel like total chaos. I joke that I’m on my cloud with my popcorn 🍿 watching the show. But truly that joke has become my go to when I’m triggered, I remind myself that I don’t have to participate and I mentally grab the peace that is always there and I get back in it. (On my cloud, with my popcorn lol)
      What an amazing time to be alive. I can imagine my grandchildren asking me about 2020. 🥳 The beginning of the great awakening!!

    "To believe hell goes on forever is idolatry."
    Alright I'm done with you guys. I'll admit Chabad is the creme of the crop. But the whole crop is bad so it doesn't matter.

      The truest translation of idol worship is " a foreign service ", At the end of days the verse in tanach says, that all evil will be swalled up. So if there is no evil left ,then what is the purpose of believing in hell, it had served its purpose and is no more.

      @@margotzvi4066 1. To believe something is a fact based on your available information is not worship.
      2. The people had to look to the snake on the pole to get rectified. (Wasnt idolatry)
      But when they propped it up in place of God during the time of Hezekiah, it was then idolatry.
      3. Hell is not an evil place. It's a place that gets RID of evil.
      But the reason people believe hell is eternal (even though this has nothing to do with idolatry) is because it's the place where the "worm dieth not" and the "flames are not quenched".
      This doesn't necessarily refer to length of time, but rather the fact that they thoroughly consume anything evil and leave nothing left.
      Regardless of someone's understanding of hell, it's not right to say its "idolatry". Because I am a strict person who hears idolatry and immediately think "death penalty". So my mind gets ready to kill a person based on the accusation. You cant go around accusing people of things that involve the death penalty or else the same punishment that went on them falsely, will go to the accuser.
      Basically, Manis should literally be killed if he said the statements about any particular person. That's the gravity of his words.
      You cant just go around speaking hyperbole all the time. Regarding some things, hyperbole is very damaging.

    In conclusion, I choose 'f'.. as in his grade, because this man is totally offensive in the light of true Scripture making up his own things that are not in the 'inspired Scripture'... no matter what position or office that he thinks he holds! Shame on you mr. rabbi for I grade you with an 'F'.
