- It's finally time to return to the HOI4 nation which Tommy's career has been built upon.
The one country that Tommy is a grandmaster in, it's time to return to Japan in HOI4 Multiplayer!
BANZAI!!!
Like I said, Tommy is making a comeback to majors big time!
First we had a Russia in HOI4 MP and now we are gonna have the world renowned Japan.
Even better, this game is a HOI4 Multiplayer Roleplay game so there's gonna be even diplomacy and HOI4 roleplay so the game will be fun ALL the time!
The self proclaimed BEST HOI4 PLAYER will be going up against all odds in this one and fighting someone who is accidentally cheating and breaking the rules.
All I'm gonna say is Tommy might have half of his entire army stolen by the enemy he's going to be up against.
Yes like literally they stole half of his military, air and navy during this war.
It's actually possible to do that if the circumstances are right with what countries you are playing and events/decisions.
You can actually "steal" someones army in Hearts of Iron 4.
Most of the time you don't expect to see this hidden and secret strategy happen in Hearts of Iron 4 Multiplayer, but Roleplay games do bring on a lot of new stuff.
Like you're gonna also see a Korean War in 1936-1937, this HOI4 MP game is gonna have a lot of new stuff you haven't seen.
This is what happens when Tommy joins a Multiplayer game as Japan!

Some of these faction choices are really unbalanced. Like Fascist or Monarchist USA is hard to pull off. I guess that would be fine with me, as it makes sense for the United States to be extremely resistant to those things... if Communist USA wasn't so fucking easy by comparison.

I believe that Tommy should have formed a faction with Mao and merged their Manchurian-Japanese & Chinese Civil War, this would result in land taken off of Manchuria to flip to the CCP which after capitulation wouldn't be able to get annexed barring the ROC from pursuing some national focuses. The benefit of this play would mean that he wouldn't need to worry about garrisoning Chinese cores.
He should have just released red China as a puppet anyway (if the player remained)
I was Poland in this Game, it was good that Tommy was in Asia, the Drama that happend in Europe was insane this Game. Rulebreaks, memeing, I think Germany got a Strike after the Game becasue he basically didnt roleplay and just tryharded, so he fucked over everyone who was trying to roleplay around him. Austria Hungary did the same thing. I think they got striked afterwards. So when Tommy says Roleplay games are back, iam not to sure, becasue this game literally felt like 2 years ago when RP Games died for the first time, becasue they were full of memeing teenagers who just tryharded. cough cough Grisha, Dankus

I also was Playing Poland in the other RP game you uploaded where Tommy was Sweden. That game was 1 day earlier and was way better. Probably because there weren’t people like chicken little etc. In that one. So the doctrine that is banned for chin se minors gives you WAY too much defensive potential becouse it gives huge buffs to defence on core territory

That was an absolutely unfair game with Manchuria cheating and then getting tons of lend-lease from the allies, but Tommy could have played a more diplomatic game.
He was playing commuist Japan and was roleplaying with the people in his sphere of influence. I think he roleplayed as he should have been.
Its more on how Manchuria pays Swiss spies to mess up with tommy, get half his navy, his entire airforce and half the army + better generals.

Normally Tommy's complaining really annoys me and is frustrating. That being said in this particular case I do feel he was justified. He gave Manchuria half his military and gave him a buff as well. Then manchuria does a banned doctrine on top of that and still allies with china, switzerland, USA, sweden, etc with varying degrees of aid. Sweden sends tanks to manchuria and USA is sending a fascist country tens of thousands of guns? If manchuria would have just faced him one on one it would have been much more fair and interesting. Maybe with china on top of that but nothing more.
but that's how roleplay games go, its more about making allies then what from I've heard that tommy didn't make any good allies because of his pride
@@TheHalfwayXBray If anything, it being a roleplay game makes it all the more dumb because the point isnt to kill the streamer or kill the majors. It really is to have an interesting game by essentially any means. Manchuria calling upon every resource in the world in order to defeat a weakened Japan is not fun and frankly didn't even really make sense from an RP standpoint. How does Sweden and America helping fascist Manchurians in asia during WW2 make any sense.

@@maxmcmahon5609 first off maybe the usa hated communism more in this universe, still basically real life and what point is there in playing the game if you aren't trying to kill someone ie: a major to form a new nation or just to see if its possible, that's the point of the game. Also maybe tommy should have made more allies as that's how most roleplay games shake out. No one in multiplayer should be able to go it alone and to me its broken that he was able to beat all of a unified Asia as a weakened japan.

Tommy was up against such amazingly bad odds, he could at least have tried a lend-lease pact with the Soviets to get the air he needed.
tommy choses to play super weak version of his nation then wonders how he was losing to someone who didn't go through a civil war. Imagine my surprise. Also I don't agree with how they ban asymmetrical warfare from the Chinese nations in the game, to me that's what it was made for, what nations make more sense for it then them.
I think its ban for them because you can get core attack/defence buff from it and with the chinese minors you can get cores on all of China. So basicly reclaiming China become easy, but that's only a guess.
@@MrDiablo166 I played them once with that doctrine and while yes its good while in china, once outside of your cores your army is so weak. So to me that's the balance of it and with china's bad industry can still be overwhelmed by other nations tanks and air force's.
