What's about the blutooth connection? I would need a dongle and Sony said they are going to annouce information on that. Nothing came from them so far 🤔
ive been using my rift s for a while and have been waiting for a pc vr headset worth getting, this could be a nice little option as argos has a big discount on psvr2 headsets,even with some of the feature being ''locked''
Yeah the missing features do really suck but hopefully as time goes by the app will support some of these features, intriguing some game devs to make compatibility.

@@pjaxego I have both on PSVR 1 as well. only 15 hours into Skyrim and mission 5 on squadrons. Will be super fun to play with more immersion via, the treadmill and motion simulator and haptic vest. of course this will be on steam with the adapter. Been racing with GT& and my motion simulator on ps5. Pretty intense, like I have never played before.
you will be able to when the adapter is released. I hear it might be made for psvr2 on ps5 tho so may want to play other pc games on pc-adapter until more info is ready. It would be a far superior game on ps5 tho, because of DFR snd haptics if and when it is ported to ps5, but only if it gets done right, hopefully sooner then later to help VR industry grow faster. GOOD games are the only way VR grows.
Paul keep your current ❤ pc for youtube and news videos seperate. Then you play the psvr2 pc-adapter games to test stuff with no worries on the PsVR2 adapter pc all crazy and can reformat that one computer over & over without a care, as your news computer with all your contacts stays safe from crashes. So you can go nuts with mods on the PLAY computer. And the "BREAKziNG NEWS" computer is always safe. ❤ ..its the best way to stay sane! hehe

im thinking that too, like maybe sony are covering there asses, as no one has psvr2 on pc yet, no devs have implemented any compatibility for features

Will the VR2 headset and controllers firmware be updatable via the steam app, or will it need to be kept up to date by connection to PS5?

I got the recommended gpu rx 6600xt with a ryzen 5600. I hope it works well lol. My whole setup cost less than £500
Cool Steam has Alyx and Vtol... then more bloatware woulda been easier to just give PS Alyx. Now Im rethinking this hardware just to play 2 games.
