For all those saying "never heard of her", she just graduated from university 2 years ago and she's already been in Neighbors 2, starred in a broadway show with Bette Middler and she is in the critically praised Lady Bird. She is just starting and, let me say, what a start!
I was just going to say the same thing. "Elizabeanie" is not a thing in the UK, but it is a very cute name, and she seems like a lot of fun. I saw her on Broadway; she's adorable (and a great singer, too).
I was thinking the same thing... Eliza, Liza, Lizzie, iz, Ellie, Beth, Elle.... it’s a Cornish(also welsh and Scottish??) thing to call babies and toddlers Peas or Beans. Maybe that’s where it comes from.
She ended up as my favorite character in Hello Dolly because of her bubbly personality! I remember meeting her at the stage door and not knowing who she was. Now I wish I could’ve gone back in time and told her how much I love her performance in Lady Bird!
I like the VET's letter. Nobody in their workplace should have to put up with any form of abuse or disrespectful behavior from clients. They were looking out for the welfare of their staff.
@@justaguy1768 he could be ethnically Jewish and raised catholic. Though he wouldn't follow both religions, both could be used to guide him morally as he grew up.
Ben is constantly asked, well at least I did, "How's Beanie?" It's become a running joke. But he kept talking to me. I had 5 minutes I'll never have again.
hi!! I saw your profile photo & I saw him in deh & I clicked on your profile and I've seen almost all the videos on your profile lol. we seem so similar:)
They are all laughing at the mom story but its not really funny is it. How badly do you have to harass a vet in order to be permanently banned??? absolute Karen by the sounds of things
1) It's really funny that her mother was such a pain in the rear that the vet said "Enough. We'll miss your poor pet, but you need to go elsewhere"? Um, ok. 2) Saoirse Ronan is also American by the fact that she was born in The Bronx. She has an affinity for the place where she spent the first three years of her life. Hence why she can play an American teen in her sleep.
I think she meant that although there were cell phones in the world, at age 13 she and Ben didn't have one yet, which is perfectly reasonable especially for 2006 when they were more of a luxury. They probably got cell phones when they entered high school.
Exactly, I'm around her age and while technically there were cell phones very few 12/13 year olds had them and texting was limited. Everyone was using AIM and Myspace to keep in touch.
She didn't mean it was before cell phones were invented, she meant it was before cell phones were a common thing high schoolers had. I was in high school in 2006, none of my friends had cell phones at 15.
Okay but I'm British, my middle name is Elizabeth, my nan's name is Elizabeth, and I can pretty confidently say that Elizabeanie is not a British nickname for Elizabeth...
You're welcome! I'm from NY, not Cali, but I, too, have friends from that school, and I also have friends from her theater camp (Stagedoor Manor)... but I don't know Beanie so we must have gone during different summers. It's an amazing camp: Natalie Portman, Lea Michele, Skylar Astin, and Ansel Elgort went there (among many others, who are mostly not famous).
If you're from Greenwich, you probably know tons of Stagedoor kids. It's funny; people assume that you need to audition to go there (maybe because of the independent movie "Camp" - which was written by an old alum and filmed at the camp off-season - which shows a theater camp full of kids who don't have much money and who get to go to camp even if they're not on speaking terms with their parents.) In reality, to go to Stagedoor all you need is the money to pay the fees (no audition), plus a parent to give permission.... so the campers are mostly upper-middle class kids from all over the country, plus a few lucky foreigners. When I got to college I saw lots of Stagedoor alumni I remembered from my summers, and met many others when I became active in performing arts. For a while, during the recession, to try to convince reluctant parents to write checks, the camp was compiling lists of where alumni ended up going to college, and then bragging about how so many Stagedoor alumni go to the Ivy league... but now, (after Glee, HSM, and Pitch Perfect) so many kids want to go to Stagedoor that there are waiting lists, and the camp doesn't need to try to sell itself at all.
For all those saying "never heard of her", she just graduated from university 2 years ago and she's already been in Neighbors 2, starred in a broadway show with Bette Middler and she is in the critically praised Lady Bird. She is just starting and, let me say, what a start!
Dani Escobar helps that her brother is Jonah hill too
Nepotism gives a great start lol!
IKR! She’s incredible! I can’t wait to see what she does next!
Jonah hill can recommend but in this business he doesn’t hold the power to cast her in whatever she wants, SHE has to audition and audition
@Alex theoneandonly I don't see how that would help. Jonah works in movies, not Broadway.
I just realized that I was Beanie's camp counsellor back in the day. She was an absolute sweetheart and I'm beyond happy to see where she's ended up.
Thats nuts, I was her space counsellor at NASA when she was training to be an astronaut
so cool! which camp?
She was my friend at school until she was reborn!
Kelly Herson stagedoor manor! It’s the best camp
Serious question: Was it a fat camp?
I'm British and have never heard the nickname Beanie for Elizabeth. It really suits her though. She is adorable.
I was just going to say the same thing. "Elizabeanie" is not a thing in the UK, but it is a very cute name, and she seems like a lot of fun. I saw her on Broadway; she's adorable (and a great singer, too).
yeah my name is elizabeth and i’ve never heard it lol
Megan Ripley i think it was just a nickname not associated with her name
I was thinking the same thing... Eliza, Liza, Lizzie, iz, Ellie, Beth, Elle.... it’s a Cornish(also welsh and Scottish??) thing to call babies and toddlers Peas or Beans. Maybe that’s where it comes from.
I think her nanny was trolling her.
“Your brother is Jonah Hill.”
Me: *WAIT WHAT*
I've known that for a couple years lol
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT. She looks like him!
Whaaaaat 😯👀
Same
I would leave class any day to go and see Ben Platt 😂
imagine if you went to school with ben platt though
How did I not know she was related to Jonah Hill... I actually see The resemblance now
Omg Ben Platt with braces...he’s already freaking adorable as is. Can you imagine?
I love Beanie! She is such a scenestealer in Hello Dolly.
I loved her in Hello Dolly! Hilarious and sweet as Minnie :)
She ended up as my favorite character in Hello Dolly because of her bubbly personality! I remember meeting her at the stage door and not knowing who she was. Now I wish I could’ve gone back in time and told her how much I love her performance in Lady Bird!
I love her so much. Broadway women are my heart and soul ❤️
She’s beautiful and so sweet.
i think we would all blow off high school to see ben platts teeth
I like the VET's letter. Nobody in their workplace should have to put up with any form of abuse or disrespectful behavior from clients. They were looking out for the welfare of their staff.
yes.... and why was it told like some cute hilarious story?
She's delightful.
funny! i must admit i only knew of her through ben so watching this and finding out she is jonah's sister is crazy !!!!!!
She seems awesome!
I'm so jealous!!! I want Ben Platt to be my bff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aww Benny and Beenie 😍
BTW I'm Catholic and Jewish, there's plenty of guilt to go around that household.
hahahaha- yes! I was just talking to someone about that the other day. Oh, what we've inherited ;)
According to Jewish law, you're either one or the other, though you might live in a house with both religions.
Stephen Cody i’m jewish but i don’t have any jewish guilt. didn’t know that existed
Judaism + guilt? Does this happen?
@@justaguy1768 he could be ethnically Jewish and raised catholic. Though he wouldn't follow both religions, both could be used to guide him morally as he grew up.
She's beautiful
Did he just say ‘a PAIR of teeth?!’
Such a goddess
and Jonah Hill's sister, oy gevalt
The way she kind of mumbles “I mean I think I said I have to pee or something.........” LOL
She’s so cute!
she’s so AMAZING
No it is not a propular nick name in England. It's Beth, Betty, Liz, Eliza, Ellie.
Never heard elizabeanie.
As a British Elizabeth & I agree. I've had lots of name but never beanie
I agree, but if her nanny is British and that’s what she told her when she was a kid, you can’t blame her for assuming it’s true.
I can see why she and Ben are friends 😂
She is awesome
Circassian Daughter second that
Beanie is so fun omg
I would die for Beanie and Ben
I love her!!
I love her!!!
as an english person i can safely say i have never heard elizabeanie in my life
Aimee Robertson same!
I have.
Ben is constantly asked, well at least I did, "How's Beanie?" It's become a running joke. But he kept talking to me. I had 5 minutes I'll never have again.
Wait really!?
This is the very first video I've seen of her but she's awesome!
hi!! I saw your profile photo & I saw him in deh & I clicked on your profile and I've seen almost all the videos on your profile lol. we seem so similar:)
I see you also have a playlist of ben platt in toronto, did you go to that show? I was there lol!! (sorry if I sound creepy or weird)
Beanie rumored to played Barbra’s role of Fanny Brice in revival of Funny Girl 2022.
Yes....that voice...
"Your brother is Jonah Hill" oooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's why she looks familiar
I saw her in his “getway” video!!!
They are all laughing at the mom story but its not really funny is it. How badly do you have to harass a vet in order to be permanently banned??? absolute Karen by the sounds of things
Yeah, it wasn't a funny story. She should've been embarrassed
what she's jonah hill's sister??? nice!! loved her in lady bird. so cute!!
THIS IS SO CUTE
SDM GANG!!! HOME OF THE BEAVER CHANT AND LARY NYE FAN CLUB!!!
Woah is there no audience/fake audience? For some reason I don’t like these types of interviews without audience reactions, I don’t know why.
There are reactions. I can hear laughter.
imagine if you went to school with ben platt.
i would die.
I'm British and I've never hear of anybody being called Elisabeanie. That would just be weird.
grace x thank you for your completely useless and pointless comment. The world has gotten no better for it.
She's hot. Although I never heard of her.
All I'm getting from this is it's hilarious that her mom is a jerk to people. Real nice.
A pair of teeth? ...Was his mind wandering just a little bit?
Imagine being bens best friend
Gotcha
1) It's really funny that her mother was such a pain in the rear that the vet said "Enough. We'll miss your poor pet, but you need to go elsewhere"? Um, ok.
2) Saoirse Ronan is also American by the fact that she was born in The Bronx. She has an affinity for the place where she spent the first three years of her life. Hence why she can play an American teen in her sleep.
It was before cell phones but he texted you? Hmm...

What she meant is we met there and we couldn't keep in touch, then he joined my school later (9th grade) and that's when he texted
yaaaaas stagedoor!
Her mom sounds exactly like my grandma XD
Okay but I'm British, my middle name is Elizabeth, my nan's name is Elizabeth, and I can pretty confidently say that Elizabeanie is not a British nickname for Elizabeth...
I think she has a very charming bone structure and can I just say she is a better version of Jonah hill?
Lizzie or Beth. Beanie, no- not for Elizabeth, anyway.
Brother jonah hill !!!??! They do look a bit alike
jonah hill looks great 👍👍
lol i didn't know her brother was jonah hill
I don't feel so bad about naming my kids Perrin,Siuan, and Elyas now.
Who’s Ben Platt?
Platt is a pretty famous broadway star and recording artist
Múp
So did she go to Harvard-Westlake?
Yes.
Oh, cool. I have friends who went there.
Thanks!

Thanks for the info!

Beanie who ?
Never heard of her
She's Jonah Hill's sister.
& now you have lmao
The guest budget must be running low this month.
Ouch.. Beanie is so sweet :) why be mean?
Btw Catholicism is complete Judaism, and fulfilled Judaism.
Btw, Judaism disagrees, not that fairy tales are factual, but here we are.
She's delightful.
