Im not an expert hacker Im still a beginner :) Well to tell you the truth there is no special recipe Just invest A LOT of time Its kinda like in videogames grind until you level up - same goes for real life except you wont know how leveled-up you are But trust me Just invest a lot of time Learn what you love.,
What are course step to completely learn Bug Bounty or Ethical Hacking like you ! I am on learning mode. I am learning programming as well as comptia A+ and Network+ after I am thinking to learn Security+ and Linux + . Would it be better or Should I learn Database prograaming. And knowledge about the tools and start working on try hack me. I am literally very much confused . If you could help me . It would be great 👍 . I know some of the basic steps tools and command on linux . And also know but. I need depth knowledge .
First suggestion : use a bunch of free courses and resources online. You dont have to pay expensive courses, you just have to know how to find free stuff. Trust me - most of the things you are looking for - you can find a free tutorial for - at least in your beginner to intermediate phases, for later phases chances decrease, but you'll be better at finding stuff then. I recommend free courses from cybrary, udemy and similar - just to get your CV/Resume more equipped. Once you think you've scraped off all the things that interested you (or that you found useful) and that you are ready - you can take a course like eJPT - its great if you wanna get into pentesting and dont wanna pay thousands of dollars. If you wanna get into webapp pentesting or bug bounty i recommend portswigger's webapp security academy. If you wanna work in SOC or as an incident responder then id recommend looking at udemy and youtube courses on that and then taking a cheaper course to get a certificate to get you started. Will you need linux? Yes, most likely Will you need progrmaming? Yes, but which language - depends on what you wanna do Everything just requires a lot of practical work, you are gonna have to invest countless hours in this - keep that in mind. But dont let that scare you, iff you are just starting off id recommend to just follow your curiosity. See what makes you curious. :) And no you dont need to learn "database programming" (sql) for hacking, you'll only need it if you are gonna do webapp pentesting (that has sql) or similar. If you wanna get into general pentesting and ethical hacking i definitely recommend knowing basics of html, js, sql and some intermediate python - i found it very useful. Hope that helps at all
