I'm talking about gameplay, its a monstrosity: - you can keep walking while aiming your weapons, on PC its holding SHIFT button (running button), so the player gets the chance of aim and choose to show the head on any direction, stand while being under cover or take prone position; or you can keep walking and shooting while aiming by holding SHIFT button. - when using a sniper, besides increasing the zoom towards your target, you can hold steady for the shot, on PC you press and hold SPACE (jump button) while aiming, then wait for the sight to stay still and shoot. One of my favorite thigs about this game are the weapons uppgrades, all of them are amazing: - when any rifle gets the granadelauncher uppgrade, you can easily remove the granade form the launcher and use the rifle as a rifle, on PC you clic on the mouse wheel and its done: granade out; if you want your granade launcher back then clic again on the mouse wheel: granade in and ready for throw. - On the STG.44 full uppgraded the weapon gets a tactical sight (its on the video) and you can also remove that sight and use the STG.44 with the classic sight. Such as before, clic on mouse wheel and take it out, same for use it again. Great video.! The game has its own tutorials about gameplay, and other videos, those are cinema (cigarrette on); my favorite was the clip that shows the player how the sound job was done. Epic. I wish I could play it again, but installing the old CDs didn't work. So I hope I see the new video when its upploaded.
This was the game. I played it when I was younger. Haven't played it for 5, 6, or maybe even 7 years. One of the best games never spoken about anymore. It's sad
This game was the first fps game I'd ever played, I was about seven when I first played it. It was one of my dad's games for his Xbox. And he was a paratrooper in the army ( retired now ) so I wanted to experience what it's like to be a paratrooper. Still one of my favorite video games to this day, nine years later.

Wish they did a remaster to Medal Of Honor Frontline. Was my first experience with fps games. Cod Ww2 campaign did an awesome job with there recreation of the Omaha beach landings. But still MOH was my first.
BAND OF BROTHERS the video game. One of THE most underrated games of all time. Even the opening tutorials taught me lessons I never forgot. Medal of Honor reached its conclusion with this one, it felt kinetic and frenetic and satisfying.

MOH Airborne the game specifically focuses on the Airborne experience, jumping out of planes into enemy territory, which is what BOB was about.. even the tutorial at the beginning feels like it could have had David Schwimmer giving the lessons. (Okay okay, I'll give you Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway from 2008, haha.)

This game is as realistic as your average call of duty I listed the things why I hate this game so much. - weapons reload about ~4 times too fast - some weapon iron sights are not even aligned. Mp40, kar98k, thompson. When you ADS these guns you dont even use the post sight. - The SMGs and pistol are beyond inaccurate. - incorrect magazine sizes, for the shotgun and the mp40's 64 round box magazine - nazi sturm elites - only seeing the kar98k in the very first level and not in the other 5, though it was the most common rifle the germans used. - kar98k/Gewehr43/garand are unable to 1-bodyshot kill any level 2 BOT or higher. - that 10 levels of AI bot system - unremoveable attachments you will get whether you want them or not. Scopes, full auto kit C96, rifle grenades - AI having a lot of HP - no m1 or m1a1 carbine in the game - laggy gameplay from time to time. And peeking arround corners works badly - rediculous movements of AI getting shot. Putting a 7,62 mm in one's tummy is not enough to make him stop shoot you. - pissweak melee attack - too fast AD - only 6 levels I honestly dont know why that game ever gotten good reviews, with such enormous weapon fuck ups and laggy elements

I was 12 when this game came out.. My dad allowed me to play this game on his laptop on Christmas Eve at my grandparents' right after Dinner. Pearl Harbor on tv, my grandparents still alive, and all the other problems that were common for a 12 year old in 2007.. man world was good then

I played Medal of Honor: Allied Assault years ago, a year or two after it was released; then life intruded and I pretty much quit playing video games with any frequency for years. Early in the pandemic I revisited MOHAA, and then checked out the rest of the series for the first time. Pacific Assault is a significant improvement, but Airborne takes it further and is EXCELLENT. A huge leap forward in terms of graphics and realism (except for some of the enemies you kill going "flying"), and just overall playability. And since it's nearly 14 years old, it's dirt cheap to buy and can run on pretty much any PC. I've probably played it through nearly a dozen times by now, and it's still fun -- there's always new nooks and crannies to discover, and lots of different ways to approach an objective. Highly recommended!
@@Jschaefer04 - they are indeed. What I like particularly about Airborne is that it combined the best elements of the previous two, added improved graphics, and made an even better game. It feels gritty and intimate and realistic. I've played it many more times since my comment a year ago, and it's fantastic.
The best part of the video is the last one, after the credits rolled. I've played through the game a couple of times, never let the credits roll, but seeing the devs' videos now here, it was the most interesting part. The amount of work that went into this game was STUNNING!
Right at 3:00:00 it's perfect. He gets caught in their spawn location and gets absolutely bum rushed, then respawns and swoops into the door to immediately have a boxing match with a German and get a sharpshooter commendation award for bonking him in the nose. Best minute and a half in the whole video.
Loved this game growing up and loved the concept of you getting to choose wherever you landed and having different squads fighting for each objective, was so cool

The first few WWII MOH were the best war games ever made one can see how much emotional time were put in these games, the music, the graphics (for its time), and the story. These games are still a work of art.
I kinda dig these type of games’ environments, dark and dirty. I love it. I am not saying new games are bad, they are great, but they are too bright and colourful. This dark and dull environment gave a vibe to ww2 games. Especially this game and COD world at war.
I always felt like every bullet, movement in this game felt real, had weight...It's been probably 10 years since I last played it, but the sound of my gear as I'm sprinting is still alive in my mind.
It had so inovative Gameplay. No Level Borders, no Rail-Gun Missions like CoD. You had your open Map, could land wherevere you want, could beginn with any objective you want. That game was sooo awesome. But to fucking short
It all started for me with the Call of Duty Finest Hour trailer. I played Finest Hour and fell in love. Then I played United Offense and Medal of Honor Pacific Assault and European Assault. Then COD 2 Big Red One (underrated as fuq). BUT THIS was like the last war experience I had as a sober gamer (before using weed became my preferred way to play games) and my goodness... this openness and feeling of self-reliance and working to an objective, it was so good. And my gosh, I'll never forget the name Der Flakturm. That last level was agony manifest. As a good, you felt like you were there. HL1, Bioshock, and HL2 were the only other game to immerse me so heavily as a child. War games just had that power somehow. I miss it. Hell Let Loose is an amazing replacement if you have a good PC. I strongly suggest it. Stalingrad is hell.
Nose si no lo saben pero se puede quitar, hay algunas cosas de jugabilidad que no usan en el video y esa es una de ellas, cuando en cualquier rifle se consigue la mejora del lanzagranadas, se puede desmontar la granada y usarlo como rifle normalmente sin acabarse las granadas antes, en PC era dando clic en la rueda del ratón. Así mismo se podía volver a montar una granada para usarlo como lanzagranadas. Otra característica que veo que no usan es la mira de la STG44, porque esa mira táctica se puede quitar o poner también dando clic en la rueda del ratón. Es una belleza de juego y lo que más me gustaba era justamente las mejoras de las armas, todas tenían mejora hasta las pistolas y las granadas.

Criminally under rated game, esp with Call of Duty becoming the style and norm of most military shooters. Finding new spots to land and take point was always exhilarating. Interestingly, this would be one of the major titles to show off Ageia PhysX's stand alone physics engine (in competition with Havok) without using the dedicated physics processing unit. Nvidia would buy the company in 2008.
Blitzvogel i remember playing just the demo for hours. It was only one level, but finding new spots to land, leveling up the guns, etc was so rewarding and everything felt like it had an impact on gameplay. Compare that to a cod campaign and its badically just rewinding time if you die. In this you actually felt like your team suffered a loss. I wish theyd do a remaster or a sequel.
I remember when I played this game. It was one of the earlier PS3 games I've played. I use to be really blown away from it's graphics. And for 2007, the graphics are still pretty impressive.

Great game except for the last few missions. Felt too unrealistic like wolfenstein. I played this game like 5 times. Only beat it once. The other 4 times didn't wanna play the last few missions they are not fun.
01:05:10 - Man the score from this moment. Shortly after this there's this incredibly triumphant music cue where all the strings come in. It's funny watching other people play this part safe with cover. When I played it for the first time back in the day and that cue came in I couldn't help but run forward like William Wallace with a gun.

GabryyLG Yes. It's too bad that this was Medal of Honor (MoH) swan song with regard to World War 2 FPS games. The only problem with this game was that the missions were too short. Moreover, it went under the radar when this game was released in 2007 at the same year the first CoD; Modern Warfare was released and the sales of that game hit the roof while MoH Airborne was largely forgotten. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy both MoH & CoD when they were dealing with World War 2. In addition, MoH's answer to CoD Modern Warfare was the 2010's Medal of Honor fight against terrorists, but that game went under the radar too. By that time, it was too late for the Medal of Honor franchise.
I was kid when my mom wouldn't let me play this because it was violent and instead my older brother played it. She would only let me play spider man or Crash but you already know I played this anyway lol.
I believe this game came out in 2010, when I was 10 also, and I played it so much. I beat the game probably thirty times throughout my life, I couldn't get away from it. The great voice acting, the ragdoll physics were so fun, Der Flakturm was the coolest level ever, dude this game is amazing. I really wish they would remaster it, I would pay top dollar for this to be on a new console. It's great because you're not focused on character developement, you're not really focused on too much of a story either, it's straight up battle without the stalling. I love CoD pre-Black ops 3, and I love MoH pre- Warfighter, I think Battlefield is the one keeping me on the ps4. BF1, not the newest one, BFV tried to cater to needs that aren't essential to the game, it messed up big time. Anyways, you're incomparable to my ten year old self, you're pretty garbage if I'll be so blunt, but thanks for your efforts, I really appreciate what you did here. I hope you all have a good life, live well.

Criminally under rated game, esp with Call of Duty becoming the style and norm of most military shooters. Finding new spots to land and take point was always exhilarating.
Interestingly, this would be one of the major titles to show off Ageia PhysX's stand alone physics engine (in competition with Havok) without using the dedicated physics processing unit. Nvidia would buy the company in 2008.
Blitzvogel i remember playing just the demo for hours. It was only one level, but finding new spots to land, leveling up the guns, etc was so rewarding and everything felt like it had an impact on gameplay. Compare that to a cod campaign and its badically just rewinding time if you die. In this you actually felt like your team suffered a loss. I wish theyd do a remaster or a sequel.
I remember when I played this game. It was one of the earlier PS3 games I've played. I use to be really blown away from it's graphics. And for 2007, the graphics are still pretty impressive.

01:05:10 - Man the score from this moment. Shortly after this there's this incredibly triumphant music cue where all the strings come in. It's funny watching other people play this part safe with cover. When I played it for the first time back in the day and that cue came in I couldn't help but run forward like William Wallace with a gun.

GabryyLG Yes. It's too bad that this was Medal of Honor (MoH) swan song with regard to World War 2 FPS games. The only problem with this game was that the missions were too short. Moreover, it went under the radar when this game was released in 2007 at the same year the first CoD; Modern Warfare was released and the sales of that game hit the roof while MoH Airborne was largely forgotten. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy both MoH & CoD when they were dealing with World War 2. In addition, MoH's answer to CoD Modern Warfare was the 2010's Medal of Honor fight against terrorists, but that game went under the radar too. By that time, it was too late for the Medal of Honor franchise.

I believe this game came out in 2010, when I was 10 also, and I played it so much. I beat the game probably thirty times throughout my life, I couldn't get away from it. The great voice acting, the ragdoll physics were so fun, Der Flakturm was the coolest level ever, dude this game is amazing. I really wish they would remaster it, I would pay top dollar for this to be on a new console. It's great because you're not focused on character developement, you're not really focused on too much of a story either, it's straight up battle without the stalling. I love CoD pre-Black ops 3, and I love MoH pre- Warfighter, I think Battlefield is the one keeping me on the ps4. BF1, not the newest one, BFV tried to cater to needs that aren't essential to the game, it messed up big time. Anyways, you're incomparable to my ten year old self, you're pretty garbage if I'll be so blunt, but thanks for your efforts, I really appreciate what you did here. I hope you all have a good life, live well.
