This MJ reuses the body and legs from the 2017 Homecoming 2 pack MJ. They've added the rubber sweater overlay but apart from that it's mostly reuse, hence the pinned legs. You're right about those tiny boots, they suck for getting her to stand but you can swap the big sneaker feet on from the Dr Strange 2 America Chavez figure. May not be 100% accurate to what she was wearing at the end of No Way Home but they're near identical to the sneakers she was wearing at the start of the movie/end of Far From Home.
It's more on Sony's part. For some reason they don't want Andrew's spiderman likeness or the amazing spiderman movies shared with others. Most likely has something to do with Sony trying to make their own spiderman universe
No one gonna talk about the false advertising Hasbro did with the Tobey figure, they showed two fist and two web shooting hands, and it comes with two web shooting hands, one fist, and one crawling hand.
Hasbro gonna Hasbro, creating figures everyone wants, but only including them in sets that are either crazy expensive, or come with other figures you don't want. Heck, for the three-pack weren't they Hasbro Pulse exclusive? So, great, pay out the ass, or wait some months later for those same figures, except they're incomplete because god forbid we get a definitive version of a character. I had hopes for the Amazing Spider-Man from this line-up, but I can't get over the mismatched hands, and now I'll probably go for the S.H.Figuarts, even if it doesn't have the Andrew head. Lovely review by the way, it's been great also seeing the 3rd party items lately, bringing these figures to a new level in ways we'd never see otherwise.

I just got tobey and Andrew in a few days ago. Overall, I’m satisfied. I wasted a 100 but still got all the hands for both of them. Andrew was loose in the wrong places (abdomen) but my 3 pack one is still stiff so I’m using that. But tobey came out good, no major paint problems with the web lines. I went ahead and bought Tom too so I’m waiting. But he’s my least favorite Spider-Man anyway so if it comes out good then cool. If not, I’ll find another one later.
Honestly Toby's and Andrew's Spider-Man suits are my personal favorite but I wished the TASM 2 suit's front spider symbol was a little bit more on his his chest and I don't mind the more younger Toby along with Andrew unmasked Spider-Man head sculpts, But to be for real, I will get Toby and Andrew only, Overall, Great video.

I wish that they also released (with new articulation) the “integrated suit” as I never was able to get one from the original wave and couldn’t afford the 3 pack (but purposely also didn’t get it bc I knew the unmasked figs were coming later).

So I am one of the people who bought both the 3 pack and the new maskless versions. 😢 I don’t expect perfection with ML sculpts, but Toby’s was still a bummer, so much so that I expect I will grab a custom, which will make my overall costs go up even more (or maybe I should just get the SH Figuarts). Yea i don’t see an issue with any of them really. It’s marvel legends, not SHF. You’re paying like 25$ a figure versus 80-120… it’s not gonna be the same quality 😭

The other two are older and would require more details to get that rugged aged look. Not defending the outcome, just trying to process what potentially led to the figs turning up the way they did

the clear stands are "Obitsu stands" but they they haven't been available on Amazon for awhile. But a lot of the stuff that pops up when you search that will work
What annoys me most is that they planned to have swappable necks with the heads, to show the skin of the neck when the mask is off - Rather than having double ball necks like new releases, they have a square seem at the base - Wish they’d have added $5 to the price for that and the extra hands or something 🥸
Nah, this is the way Hasbro has been doing the necks on their MCU figures for the last couple of years. It's made that way so they can use a universal ball peg joint that can be easily pressed into the neck hole, as it's made of a softer plastic, but allows them to make the torso out of a harder plastic to make the figure more solid and durable. Every MCU figure now has a separate rubber neck piece unless it's reuse of an older body. The only exception to that I can think of in recent times is the Ravager Thor where it's all one solid plastic piece.

I guess because Hasbro and Hot Toys made figures back in 2012, there's something in the agreement that allows this loophole. SH Figuarts didn't make TASM2 figures at the time so that's probably why it's a no go for them.

Just got the tom figure i was worried mine would have qc issues but he was super stiff , run him under hot water for 30 seconds and freed up the joints and then i ran it under cold water for a bit and it felt amazing after that good as new !
That third Andrew Garfield hand is a webshooters hand, sometimes andrews spidey doesn’t do the full on webshooters hand so they threw in the third webshooters pose I’d assume. In his movies he did a lot of the 🫴🏽 pose when shooting his webs along with using the 🤘🏽pose aswell.
I got the green goblin from this set at my target. Had to ask for him cause he was in the back but I had to preorder Tobey from GameStop cause I missed him 😢

Gotta argue with you about the smiling Tobey shf head that you said looks nothing like him. A lot of people have made the same claim. If you watch no way home again, at the end when Tobey and Andrew are embracing each other before they say bye to Tom, they both smile and Tobey makes this exact face. So it’s pretty much dead on.
It’s funny I got all 3 spider-men and the faces of tobey and andrew look exactly like them it seems all the errors have been corrected cause I live in Australia and all 3 of them look great or my country got lucky with how the toys got released 😂😂

It's the Amazing spiderman 2 Because of the licensing issues sadly. Thats why the shf couldn't have his unmasked head but marvel legends can!
