i love the way how she put back everything she take nicely in place... some people will just leave them however they want to thinking that staff will place them properly... what an act of kindness. 👍👍👍
Hi I am 11 years old but I am obsessed with organization! I can't stand when my room is messy or my stuff is unorganized. Then I saw your channel and I feel in heaven! My parents say all the stuff is a waste of money but I will take all the advice for when I move out! I FOUND MY PEOPLE!!!
Because it's so cheap that you may actually end up buying lots of unnecessary stuffs, need to learn to control the buying urge, but certain many thing are really worth the value.
Hi Kathryn! My daughter and I went to our first Diaso store today.! It was so cute! It just opened three weeks ago. I told the nice clerk that I found out about Diaso from you. He asked for your TH-cam channel and I gave it to him. Who knows? Maybe you'll get a new subscriber!
Hi Katherine. You inspire. Me. Ever time I watch you I love your cooking show with your son! I just lazy And old if your age girl I be all over dollar tree
U should go check it out. I say wait few more days till it slows down. I went on the grand opening day and it was packed with people so I didn't get to shop that much. Make sure u have ur wish lists otherwise you will spend more than you intended. I'm guilty for that LOL
I love the Daiso store. I live in California and I drive about an hour and a half to get to the Daiso store. It's always fun trying to find new treasures. The crafting section is my favorite.
@@claudiarobinson96 I like the one in Carrollton better plus there are also an entire Korean shopping center area plus some other Asian stores too. The customer service is pretty good I never had an issue and I go pretty regularly. The one in Irving is okay, but they don't seem to have as many items as the one in Carrollton.
Daiso is the best. I live within close proximity to three of them and I can usually find any craft or home and kitchen supplies there instead of paying top dollar. I'm so spoiled!
Lol, the problem with having them close by is that we buy so much things from Daiso that we don't really need but get them just because they are cute, haha!
I LOVE Daiso!! We have one here in West Los Angeles, a few minutes from my house. Haven't been for awhile thx for the reminder! It's funny though, how that extra .50 per item seems to add up pretty quickly!
Now they are in Dallas Texas. Wonderful selections. I bought lots of white ceramic bowls. Now dinner time is fancy. My husband and daughter actually sits down on the dining table to eat and turn off electronics! Thanks Daiso, You did not know how you changed my life.
Trust the Japanese to have fanastic stuff at such fanastic prices, if only there was a branch in Ireland, just goes to show the prices for the same things in regular stores, just goes to show what a rip off some places are
Another store that doesn't exist here ahhh!! When I went to CA, that was the only spot I wanted to go to haha. Hope you and your family are having a good Fourth of July!!
cohen mellow Oh Yes! 😄...I just was at DAISO in the Los Angeles area near my mom's home and I bought some cool things, I spent a little over $21.00, but things for my food pantry and kitchen. DAISO has a website too! Just type in DAISO and you'll see what they sell! Have fun! 😉😄💖
You could buy 25 things, actually last month I went on a shopping spree for room decor, stationary, organization stuff, and so much more I had 100$ and there was a sale MY HAVEN
When my parents lived in Japan I got to visit them ...AND DAISO! I managed to get a suitcase of those products home with me! I still have/use most of the items I bought there because it's good quality and serves so many functions around our home. Thanks for the video!!!
Hey you're in my neighborhood! How cool! We love Daiyso and so happy they built a new one about a year after this video closer. I've purchased many organizing bins and plastic ware from them... Never disappointed.
How much fun! I was in awe at the sewing and craft supplies for sure! Next trip to CA, this is going on our list. Thank you for sharing your shopping adventures with us. :)
Went to a Daiso in Torrance, CA while on vacation with my sister. We dragged my 2 teenaged boys along, much to their chagrin, because we couldn't stop squealing over how cute everything was. Ended up getting a bunch of organization bins for me, and strange Japanese snacks for them.
Daiso is also in Vancouver , British Columbia, Canada. They have a few stores there. I live in Ontario, but travel to Vancouver a couple of times a year to visit my son . Daiso is my go to shopping, love the plastic storage bags. They have tons of sizes. Best store ever !!
Are you in heaven?? They really need to build one of those in Orlando! We do dollar tree hauls, but Diaso looks amazing!! Feel free to check out our channel!
If you're in the US... For binders, clipboards, & other office supplies just make sure it's actually letter size 8.5x11 most things at Daiso are A4 which is a little different size. I love Daiso & am glad I have one not too far away. :)
I love Daiso. They have really useful things that you didn't even know existed and you're left like:" How did I even make it this far without this??!"😝❤️👏🏼
Well, since the bottom oven tray is used to keep food warm until serving. My guess is the foil helps to trap the heat more therefore keeping it hot until serving your guest.
There is a DAISO on line store, it has a lot of pictures of all their items. I'm in California but I have to drive two hours to L.A. to go to DAISO, there's a DAISO near my moms home, I always have to stop in this store 😊
+Jeanette Marie I live 5 minutes away from my closest DAISO at the Japanese Mitsuwa marketplace. It is a very small DAISO, especially compared to the one in the video, but it has A LOT of stuff! 😊
Daiso is a lot of fun! I usually go went our family goes to dinner at a particular restaurant, I finsh eating and head across the parking lot...their dishes are so nice, and always changing...their art supplies are awesome! Sometimes there's too much to choose from, so I cant decide and stay in the $10 range also.😄
Yes..i love daiso..i just went there yesterday..i live in san diego...so im so happy to have this store in my area...i love it much better than dollar tree however i do check out both stores once a week...daiso s quality is much better.
Wanda Goodman Apparently one just opened in Carrollton this weekend and they are opening a bunch more in TX in the next year or 2. Follow their FB page and comment where you would like them to open one soon.
Crafty Come Lately i am in NYC and i am soooooooooooo jealous!!! {sobbing} www.dallasobserver.com/arts/i-sweated-in-line-for-the-daiso-japan-grand-opening-and-i-d-do-it-again-7459529
I love Daiso I have one about 2 miles from me. The quality is good on their ceramics. I also find things that I have never seen before but are really useful. I go about once a month.
hawaii now has its very first daiso 💕 so excited but the craze is so huge right now that it’s almost impossible to get in without a long wait in line 💕
Daiso quality better - it justifies the extra 50 cents. I bought over 100 dollar worth of products for my dinner set and kitchen. Totally worth it. Japanese products are far superior quality.
I think the aluminium sink cabinet sheet is to prevent the pots n pans from scratching or staining the cabinet floor. Daiso is good for some things but I won't say all of their items are worth buying. I mostly get my batteries, vegetable storage bag, Oil absorbent pad(for soaking up oil from pan after I deep fry my food) and stove shield from them.
I currently live in Japan and let me tell you ladies they’re even better out here! I’m praying they open a Diaso up on the East close of the US because we’re leaving soon! ;( needless to say I’ve spend a lot of money but with the Exchange rate and prices here things can be as cheap as .96! I love them!!
The thing you have to be careful about with Daiso is that they don't do exchanges or refunds -- all sales are final, so you have to be REALLY sure you want it before you buy it. The good news is, they usually have pretty high-quality items for the price point, so you're not likely to be unhappy with your purchase. I absolutely love their cups, bowls and salt & pepper shakers. They're adorable.
Diaso is freaking amazing! I love getting Japanese snacks, and stationary along with paper for my stationary supplies for making zines and for my printmaking art hobbies. The ceramics stuff is great in there.
Yes, but you're also paying for the items to be imported from Japan to the U.S. as well as the wages of the staff which are higher than the wages of the staff in Japan.
I realize that....I just noted that because I don't think many people realize how much 100 yen is worth. It sounds like a lot to many who aren't familiar with the currency. "In Japan everything is 100 yen, but in here, everything is $1.50!" That made it sound was like Japan was actually spending more...
+Primrose Cuaycong "twice the price" might seem overpriced, but $1.50 is already quite cheap considering that pays for the item itself, plus shipping from Japan. and daiso doesn't have crap items that won't last long. daiso has good quality stuff FOR a $1 price. other dollar stores have crappy quality stuff.
mikah ong I also realize that. I'm not being a cheapo and saying this stuff is expensive. I was making this remark because it seemed like she wasn't informed about the currency on yen.
There was indeed clay with molding tools when I went. I just filmed a whole comprehensive video about Daiso and walked around the whole store with a wideangle lens clipped to my phone. Subscribe to my channel if you want to be notified when I upload it, or if you're reading this anytime after September 2018, it's already on my channel :)
Michelle Taylor no it isn't. if it isn't marked otherwise, its a $1.50 usd, its compared as the dollar store of Japan because it kind of is, but its a lot better, and the item marked for more than $1.50 are still pretty cheap with the quality you get. like Ive bought those foldable storage fabric bins from both dollar tree and daiso, and the daiso ones come in more sizes and are a lot more durable.
Papeeshka -- I have ceramics and glass ware from Daiso. Snap lock type containers, metal food storage and a zipped lunch bag. Yes, it's a lot of plastic, but options are there.
Dallas Texas has a few stores. But now Houston will have 2 stores, 1 of which will be near me. Grand opening is August 2018. I’m so excited. I was at a Dallas Daiso over the weekend and I bought a lot of stuff I needed for organizational stuff. I spent less than $30. Yay!
Those more looked like watering sprays for the small house plants, since they have a little loop in the back and the nozzle would make it hard for soap to come out. I checked it out and it is a plant mister.
When it comes to variety & quality Daiso is far better than Dollar Tree, 99¢ Store, Family Dollar, etc... Can't wait until I move to Japan and because that is where I will buy inexpensive supplies my future apaato!
Old video, but ill still comment, hahaha. You might know it already, but those silver foam that was pictured to be placed in the kitchen is actually a frame that can be placed around your stove to avoid those oil that flies around. Easy to clean, and can be say when you fry foods when kids are around.
6:09 I have those for my fridge, I keep coupons, mail and pens. I have them near my calendar and a magnet whiteboard. They're super sturdy and makes my kitchen more put together lol.
I was introduced to Daiso by fellow crafter and Junk Journal creator on a trip to New Zealand. I live in Houston, Texas and I am waiting for one to open in our area. They were suppose to open in the spring but haven't yet. There are a couple in Dallas, Texas. I was good in New Zealand but I could have bought a lot more but stuff but I had to get only items I could put in my suitcase.
i love the way how she put back everything she take nicely in place... some people will just leave them however they want to thinking that staff will place them properly... what an act of kindness. 👍👍👍
dannybela yep I totally agree when ever I go shopping there's a huge mess everywhere

Johnson Chong same
This happened to me :(
True. I triple check every 5 minutes if i really need it
Guilty.... Ive done it twice there. And NOT everything is 1.50 a lot of items are 3.00 and unmarked. Beware.
Paulette the unmarked items are 1.50 unless listed as other
This puts dollar tree to shame
Nini Nguyen I still like Dollar Tree.
Nini N. maybe but i also seen much of it not better ythan dollar tree...and its says a 1.50" but yet goes up from there on the bugger and better!!
Nini N. I still love both! I'd be happy with either one. Our town has nothing.🙁
Nini N. Soooooo true
Nini N. xD
This place is a teacher's dream. I need one on the east coast!

This JAPANESE STORE IS SO COOL, I WISH THEY HAD ONE HERE IN SOUTH TEXAS! I LOVE THEIR ORGANIZING CUBICLES, BASKETS ECT. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Hi Kathryn! My daughter and I went to our first Diaso store today.! It was so cute! It just opened three weeks ago. I told the nice clerk that I found out about Diaso from you. He asked for your TH-cam channel and I gave it to him. Who knows? Maybe you'll get a new subscriber!

My 13 month old screamed, "WOW!!!" when you showed the corner bin. I have created a bin monster :) TFS, so wish we had this near us, too!
StilaKiss33 Aww :)
one of these stores just opened here in Texas in Carrollton on July 31st. It's been calling my name and I have resisted until watching this video.
U should go check it out. I say wait few more days till it slows down. I went on the grand opening day and it was packed with people so I didn't get to shop that much. Make sure u have ur wish lists otherwise you will spend more than you intended. I'm guilty for that LOL
WHATTT I live in Carrollton... didn't even know.
Leslie Castaneda for me it will be an hour drive...probably better that way for my bank account.
kab4292 Wow, Really!! I am not that close to it but I live in Houston, Texas.
Denise Mosley Hoping they will open one in San Antonio as well.
I love the Daiso store. I live in California and I drive about an hour and a half to get to the Daiso store. It's always fun trying to find new treasures. The crafting section is my favorite.
We have them here in Dallas, Texas! And one is less than 3 miles from my home? YAY!

i need to move back to plano lol
How is customer service?

• Why is daiso and haku yen stores there so big? Mine is a size of a college dorm, and the store i'm talking about is in japan.

I found Daiso while stationed in Korea..Loved it then and now every time I go to California Daiso is one of my stops.
A suburb of Dallas, Tx has a Daiso now! Well, it actually opened last year. And there are rumors of two more opening over here as well!

I love them! They are 3 (maybe just 2) in the DFW, Tx area for anyone wondering.
Can we do a Daiso vs Dollar tree which one better- like quality
Daiso quality better - it justifies the extra 50 cents. I bought over 100 dollar worth of products for my dinner set and kitchen. Totally worth it. Japanese products are far superior quality.
I can tell you. Daiso is 110 percent better lol
we need one in NJ
xeven deSade yup I saw clay in the video lol ,I want to go there so bad 😂
I wish they had one in Idaho.
They have an On- line website, it shows pictures of there merchandise, check it out 😊

Tessa Mitz Vancouver bc? whereabouts? I live here so I totally want to check it out!
Tessa Mitz in Vancouver BC?
In Aberdeen mall Richmond
Tessa Mitz I just googled it, it's not too far from me. Thank you!
No problem
"Every thing is $1.50" "this is $6" "this is only $3"
How does this work😬😂
Unless otherwise marked. The majority of items are 1.50, but they offer other higher priced items as well.
This video is just 8 minutes of a pair of mums getting excited about cute storage products and I love it.
I want a Japanese store in our area😭,i don't like the Chinese dollar store

Diaso is freaking amazing! I love getting Japanese snacks, and stationary along with paper for my stationary supplies for making zines and for my printmaking art hobbies. The ceramics stuff is great in there.
I CAME HERE TO REWATCH THIS VIDEO BECAUSE THERES A DIASO OPENING IN NEW YORK TODAY AND IM SO EXCITED!
Woah....if everything is 100 yen in japan, then the US is paying nearly twice the amount! 100 yen = 80 cents.
Yes, but you're also paying for the items to be imported from Japan to the U.S. as well as the wages of the staff which are higher than the wages of the staff in Japan.

"In Japan everything is 100 yen, but in here, everything is $1.50!"
That made it sound was like Japan was actually spending more...
+Primrose Cuaycong In Australia, our DAISO stores charge something along the lines of $2.40...
They are also in Japan cuz it's a Japanese store 😂
Are you sure
• Duh.
but but 100 yen is $1 not $1.50...
winterbells1 - probably overhead and costs.
This makes me even more excited to go on my trip to California! I will go check out the DAISO store for sure.
Diaso is amazing! Definitely way better quality stuff than dollar tree, love them.
She spelt daiso like diaso in the intro lol
Am I the only one who watched this video to see if there was Daiso clay?
There was indeed clay with molding tools when I went. I just filmed a whole comprehensive video about Daiso and walked around the whole store with a wideangle lens clipped to my phone. Subscribe to my channel if you want to be notified when I upload it, or if you're reading this anytime after September 2018, it's already on my channel :)
No
I thought everything was $1.50?
Michelle Taylor it's .50 up to 10 I believe but most the time they are $1.50
Michelle Taylor no it isn't. if it isn't marked otherwise, its a $1.50 usd, its compared as the dollar store of Japan because it kind of is, but its a lot better, and the item marked for more than $1.50 are still pretty cheap with the quality you get. like Ive bought those foldable storage fabric bins from both dollar tree and daiso, and the daiso ones come in more sizes and are a lot more durable.
They actually have them in Texas too! You can check the Daiso website for all of the locations.
There is a Daiso here in Washington. I remember that the store started off small years ago and now they are big. I love shopping there
I saw lots of things that were $3 and $6
I hate plastics and try to avoid at all costs. It looks like stuff I would not want in my home mostly.
Papeeshka -- I have ceramics and glass ware from Daiso. Snap lock type containers, metal food storage and a zipped lunch bag. Yes, it's a lot of plastic, but options are there.
Papeeshka then this is not the store for you, lol why even comment that
Dallas Texas has a few stores.
Daiso is one of my favourite stores! They have like, everything! The crafting stuff there is my fav, super good quality and cheap👍🏻💕
6:09 I have those for my fridge, I keep coupons, mail and pens. I have them near my calendar and a magnet whiteboard. They're super sturdy and makes my kitchen more put together lol.
I loved that store. Way more selection then dollar tree, I would go broke in a store like that. Thanks for sharing this store with us. Love it💜💜💜💜
I was introduced to Daiso by fellow crafter and Junk Journal creator on a trip to New Zealand. I live in Houston, Texas and I am waiting for one to open in our area. They were suppose to open in the spring but haven't yet. There are a couple in Dallas, Texas. I was good in New Zealand but I could have bought a lot more but stuff but I had to get only items I could put in my suitcase.
