I spent 2 years on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa Japan, 1992-1994. Yes my son saw a red ghost figure standing at the end of his bed many times. 1 time I heard my 2 year old daughter playing in her room, acting like there was somebody else playing with her, curious I peeked in the room and almost peed myself when I realized there was something sitting in the little chair across from her playing along with her. Living on that island left some life long memories for all of us.
Less emphasis on jumpscares, special effects, and more on the psychological side of horror. The horror that seems plausible but you can't seem to find a reason for, so your mind ends up fabricating something to fill in the holes. The scariest horror is one that you imagine yourself, not some external force, because only you know what you are most scared about, and the mind sometimes simulate survival scenarios to increase the body's chance of survival.
There's a segment in here about a lady without a face in Hawaii. It's been a story been told so many times throughout the years, and still gave me shivers to this day. That story is still told on Halloween night and moonlight walk tours down here in Hawaii while you're on the property of the story began.

Number four reminded me of a personal story of my boyfriends. He was about 10 years old and he said he was at his grandmas house when it had happened. His grandma for some unusual reason liked to keep the house dark. He’d been playing hide and seek with his cousins when he’d seen a little girl in a white dress standing in the kitchen by the stove. He at first thought it was his cousin and said her name but the little girl showed no sign of reaction and stood perfectly still. He walked up to her and touched a strand of her short hair but didn’t see a face and that freaked him out so he ran out. He then got mad at his cousin and told her why she scared him like that but his cousin became confused and told him she’d been nowhere near the kitchen at the time. This event left him traumatized and scared of the dark and little girls that resemble the grudge. I know he wasn’t lying when he told me this bc he’d shivered when he’d spoken about it. He said that it freaks him out to this day that whatever he’d seen in his grandmas kitchen was so well manifested that he’d been able to touch it. So far, he says this is the only paranormal thing that’s happened to him

Story #4 Nopperabo- APPEARANCE: Nopperabō resembles an ordinary human being in almost all ways, and blends in perfectly with human society. However, the illusion is quickly shattered when met face-to-face, as a nopperabō actually has no face at all. Its head is a blank orb with no eyes, nose, mouth, or features of any kind. INTERACTIONS: This mysterious yokai is encountered on quiet, empty roads late at night when nobody else is around. Its main activity seems to be scaring humans, which it does remarkably well. They usually appear in the guise of a man or a woman with his or her back turned towards the observer. When approached, the yokai turns around and reveals its terrifying true form, reveling in the terror it inflicts upon its unsuspecting victim. To maximize the effect, they often appear with a face at first, and then wipe their face off dramatically with their hand at the most opportune time. Nopperabō often work together in groups to scare one individual. As their victim runs away in a panic from the first nopperabō, he runs into another person who asks him what is wrong. When the victim explains what he saw, this person replies, “Oh, you mean like this?” and wipes his face away, just like the first nopperabō. They are even known to impersonate close relatives of their victims, and sometimes a poor man will run all the way home, having run into multiple faceless ghosts only to tell his wife what he saw and have her too reply, “Oh, you mean like this?…”
The King I don't recall any stories of nopperabo killing anybody, just scaring them for shits and giggles. But since nopperabo are just other yokai like tanuki and kitsune transformed, I can't say for sure (assuming and hoping that they were/are real) There are stories of tanuki and kitsune being kind or mischievous but there are also stories about them being evil and malicious. Two such stories being the story of kuzunoha and kachi kachi yama. Those are folk tales the pertain to a nine tailed kitsune and tanuki respectively.
The girl in story number 8 could have had a fever induced hallucination. I used to have them when I was a kid, and the worst one was at a family reunion in Washington state. I was sleeping in our van in the middle seat while my mom had the back seat folded down. I woke up and looked inside the house and my feverish mind caused me to see a jester doing that hop where you switch legs and kick the other out, while he was flailing his arms. If you want a reference as to what he looked like, look up Mad Money jester or Lady Luck jester keychain. But, I would discover later that he was actually tame compared to the other hallucination. One of my granny's next door neighbors was an old man and I saw him standing outside of the windshield giving me this terrifying grin. When I mentioned the old man to my mom later on, she had told me that he had passed away before that night. Fever induced hallucinations are really terrifying.

Can u do a scary tech job, military tech, construction, electrician, etc. video, such as anything relating to hands on, requiring techs to go into weird buildings, the wilderness, scary attics/basements/part of structures? I think that would be awesome. You had a story where some sort of tech had to go into the mountains to fix something and it involved him firing his rifle at a creature

I don't ever get scared but these stories actually freaked me out. My TV keeps changing channels by itself. It's done of for years so it was never a big deal. But today it changed to two different ghost hunter shows on two different channels. The remote was across the room each time facing a wall.
I feel terrible for some ghosts because they became ghosts from their death or the disfigurement of their corpse when they were dead, and it stops them from passing on. Some ghosts are misunderstood, and they stay on planet earth because they’re either scared of the beyond, or they’re lonely, and they have no one to come to, but there are some evil ones, and they all kind of sound the same, being a ghost is a far worse than death.
How about some bowling alley stories. Or Diner ones. How about creepy mall parking lot stories. Or 7-11 ones. Or public transit station stories. Or creepy famous people ones.Or lonely highway stories. How about creepy house on the street stories. Like the Burbs. Or creepy teacher stories. Or creepy Halloween shop stories.
Darkness! Can you do a video on Cryptids from New Zealand please?? I'm moving there next year and they have some really interesting Cryptids, they have their own version of Bigfoot, two of their own types of Goatman, and even a Mosasaur like Cryptid!
